Back in Business

(4 hour later)

I was looking out of my window sitting up on my innerspring mattress. "Ms. L/n you have a vistor" a nurse said knocking on the door. I gave a nodded while still looking outside the window. I hear a new pair of feet walking into my room. "Are you ok?" It was Hondō voice, I slightly cringe at his presence. You can't blame me if I'm a bit salty, he wants to ask me if I'm 'ok' after not talking to me for a year. When I'm at my lowest he wants to swoop in and and ask if I'm 'ok'! "I'm fine" I showed no emotion while I looked at him. "You don't look fine" he said sitting down on a chair next to my bed, "Then stop looking" I quickly snapped. I hear him take a deep breath and I turn to look back at the window. As im look down at all the people I see a group of motorcycles pulling up Ugh what does he want. "I did listen to all the messages..." Hondō took a pause "and the texts" he said shamefully "I wanted to take some time befo-" "You took a year" "I know" he said in a sad tone "And I'm sorry for that. I didn't know what to do, but when I realized how long it had been you stopped sending messages.. it felt weird to respond after that." He tries to pled "So you decided to not answer all together is what I'm getting. At least Kazane tried" venom spat out of my mouth, he looked down with guilt. Did I go too far? "Please don't compare... I already do it to myself already." He asked "I did miss you, you know. It's that each time I thought of you, the face you made when I said... when i-" he put his face to his hands and dragged his hands down. "Did you mean it?" I whispered "huh?" "Did you mean it?" I said louder grabbing on to the blanket on me. He quickly ran over to me grabbing one of my hands and putting his hand on my cheek for me to look at him. "I would never in a million years want to hurt you in any sort of way. You are the one person that I crave attention from... I never never craved attention until I tasted yours." As he came to the end of the sentence he slowly leaned in. Putting both of his hands on my cheeks pulling me in and I didn't resist, our lip were inches away from touching and then-

*knock* *knock*

We both looked to the door Mikey you ass. "I'll speak with you later" and with a kiss on my forehead Hondō left. Mikey stares at Hondō as he walks down the hall. Mikey walks in, but then Sanzu is still looking down the hall watching Hondō walk. "What's the point of knocking if you open the door without my permission to?" My bitter voice called out still laying on the mattress. "Your supposed to be healing, not kissing boy's" he rolled his eyes "Can you tell your hound dog to keep his eyes off him" I tell Mikey, my eyes follow his motion. "Sanzu." Was all Mikey said before Sanzu entered the room. He acts like he's my father, is so annoying. He takes a look at my arms, the were covered in wraps and I had a blood and water needle inserted into my arms. He then looks at me for a second, it was like if he was making a decision. It turned into a sorrowful look but then he shook his head. I guess disagreeing with whatever he thought of. "What do you guys wan-" "We found him" my eyes widened when he said that. My breath, my hands, my heart they all shook not with fear, but with satisfaction. "So what's the plan?" I ask him, but Sanzu answered "The plan is to get you out of this hell hole and to fill you in along the way" "But I'm not due to leave yet, I have 3 more days" I say "And in those three days we can loose everything" Mikey said walking to the door "So you coming or not" he gave me a slight smirk tossing me one of his hoodies to put over my hospital gown, but then returned to his natural face. I look down at my arms then balled my fist. I yank the needles out of my skin quickly putting on the hoodie and hopped off the mattress bare foot. At first I tripped once they realized that I could barely walk Mikey had Sanzu pick me up bridal style and run with me in his arms. When we got outside there was alot of Mikey's men out there "Is the car here?" Mikey asked "Yes sir it's right over there" one of the men responded. Sanzu gently placed me down in the car and they both got in, Mikey tapped the car indicating for the car to get going.

When we got to the club it was closed. They took me too a room and it was a meeting room. There they were, it was Koko, Rin, Ran, Takemichi, Chifuyu and Kazutora sitting at the table waiting for us. Since when did they get close? "Y/N!" Ran hopped out of his seat and walked to me giving me a hug. "Off yourself is a big no no, you know" he said booping my nose and talking to me in a child like voice. I walked pass him going over to Kazu and hugging him, but then he stood up too to give me a real hug. "Please don't ever do that again" "I wont" I whispered. "How does the boze get a real hug and I don't" Ran rolled his eyes and I giggled. Then I remembered. "Your buddy said 'Hey', kazu" I said looking up at him. I had both him and the whole room confused "Who said hey?" " He didn't give me a name but he said for me to tell you 'to visit me sometime and to teach his kid to burn up cars.' " when I finished talking Mikey, Takemichi, Chifuyu and Kazutora looked at me wide eyed. It felt weird so I just walked to a empty seat near Rin and sat down. Once the guys recollected his thoughts they sat down as well. "Ehm so your... father." Mikey began Why did he have to say father like.... if had something personal against him? "The reason why it was so hard to find him was because you guys don't share the same last name, you are under your abuelas l/n. He's record's have also been deleted, making him make a new one" Mikey said typing stuff in his computer. He then flipped the computer to face me.

The list went on and on about IQ, Job status etc. We talked about a plan that they have been working on for months and how it will work. After hours of talking and re thinking we came with 80% solution and agreed to have another meeting tomorrow and finish then.

I got dropped off by Mikey when the meeting was over. When I started to walk to my door I noticed that it had berm fixed matter a fact everything was fixed. I was greeting with a Meow from Miko when I walked in. I guess he took you back here after the incident. I stopped walking when I realized something. My desk lamp light was on.... I slowly walk over to my desk to feel the light bulb it's a bit warm... the person must have left only a few minutes before I got here. I look down and see a letter. I place Miko on the desk as I pull my chair to read it.

I will like to meet you face to face. I know you have a lot of questions that only I can answer. I hope to meet you at XXX Bridge at exactly at 6:30 pm tomorrow alone.
