She wolf~! (Naruto Fanfic)

Passing...

I woke up, my abdomen hurting. And I quickly realized why. I, along with Naruto, was tied to a stump. I looked around me, feeling slightly embarassed remembering how I was beated easily  After some time the... The Kakashi came back. .. And Naruto's stomach continued to growl. 

''Your stomachs are growling, eh? By the way, about the results of this training, none of you need to return to the academy.'' Confusion flashed across Sakura's face, and asked. ''Huh? But all I did was to faint, was that okay?'' I sweat dropped. Both Naruto and Sakura were pretty joyous. ''Yes..'' He said in a friendly tone, but then ''You four should quit being ninjas!''. Disbelief was shown in Sakura's face, her mouth hanging open, with furrowed eyebrows.

Naruto was wide eyed, sweating. And Sasuke... being Sasuke. My face? Anger.

''Quit being ninjas? What do you mean?!'' Naruto exclaimed exasperatedly. ''We couldn't get a bell. but why do you say we should quit?!'' He squirmed on the stump.

''It's because you four are just kids who don't even deserve to be ninjas.'' He simply said. That snapped Sasuke. He made a dash towards The Kakashi, only to end up under him in a matter of seconds. Sakura screeched at the top of her lungs, or so I think,  ''Don't step on Sasuke-kun!''

''Do you guys think being ninjas is easy?'' My face softed a bit, as he asked to us. ''Why do you think we're training by breaking up into groups?'' Pause... ''In other words, you don't understand the answer of this test.'' ----

Wait, wait.. isn't it teamwork?

''The answer?'' Naruto spoke up, ''That's right. To determine wether you pass or fail .'' ''But we've been asking you the whole time...'' ''..Teamwork..?'' I muttered under my breath, no one heard. ''Geezus, are you brains empty?''

Naruto gave up, having an outburst. ''What about us being in a group?!'' ''Teamwork.'' Why didn't I speak sooner? I shook my head with dissatisfaction.

''Do you mean to cooperate?'' ''That's right. But it's too late now,'' He narrowed his eye ''If all of you four had attacked me together, you might've gotten a bell... But that's too bad.'' ''Wait.. there were only three bells, so one would've gotten...'' She trailed. ''This test tries to put you against each other, in this situation,  we select those who can prioritize teamwork before themselves... but all of you were pathetic...   especially you Darsia.'' I gritted my teeth.

''¡Sakura!'' She gasped. ''You cared for Sasuke far more than for Naruto, even though he was right in front of you, and you didn't know where Sasuke was.'' She flushed. ''¡Naruto!'' His eye widened ''All you did was to work on your own.'' Kakashi then gazed down at Sasuke- ''You assumed that those were only going to burden you and did everything by yourself.''

''And you...'' He looked at me. ''...You were completely pitiable. You were distracted by a plant, even though your enemy was right in front of you. You were knocked out cold with one hit.'' My face hardened into a death glare.

''Missions are done in groups! It's true ninjas need well-developed individual skills,  but it's teamwork that is much more important.'' He looked at each one of us with a stern look, except for Sasuke whom was pushed on the ground, eating dust. ''An individual action that disrupts the teamwork will result in danger or even death for the teammates,''

He pointed a kunai dangerously close to Sasuke's neck and commanded th following -- ''Sakura! Kill Naruto now or Sasuke dies, if you dont--'' His eye snapped to me ''Then I''ll also kill Darsia!''

Sakura and naruto both gasped, with eyes wide as saucers. ''That is what will happen.'' Sasuke gulped as he removed the kunai from there. Sakura exhaled the breath she had kept ''You surprised me,,,''

As he twirled the deadly weapon in his finger he added, ''After somone is taking hostage, decisions will be taken and someone will surely die.'' He got up and retreated off sasuke. ''Every time you go on a mission, you are facing death.''

He walked towards a stone. ''Look at this-- at the many names carved in it... all these names are those praised as heroes in this village.'' His back was facing us, and I felt a pang in my heart. I knew what that stone was. ''I like that! I like that!'' Naruto blubbered stupidly.

I craned my neck to glare him. ''I've decided I will have my name carved in it! A hero! I am not going to an useless death!'' ''It would be my pleasure to make your name get carved in it...'' I growled menacingly,  Naruto looked at me questioningly. Kakashi continued ''They're not normal heroes...'' ''So what kind of heroes were they?'' Naruto asked eagerly with a goofy grin.

''Come on, tell me!'' ''Those were K.I.A'' ''KIA?'' He questioned, tilting his head to the side. Sakura answered his question distastefully, ''Those who were killed in action.'' Naruto's smile fell and he looked away shamefully.

''This is a cenotaph. The names of my friends are carved  in here as well.'' Everybody was silent, with looks of remorse, including me. Kakashi looked back at us, ''I'll give you one more chance. However, the battle for the bell will be much harsher after lunch. Eat only if you are up to it. But don't let Naruto eat,  particularly Darsia.''

Naruto made a face, while I only grunted. ''This is punishment. If anyone feeds them..'' His face darkened ''..this person will inmediately fail. Got it?'' Then he left.

Sasuke and Sakura started eating their lunches peacefully, that was, until Naruto's stomach growled. ''I am okay...'' *GROWL~* ''..okay.''

Sasuke then offered his lunch to him, But sakura interrupted him, ''Wait Sasuke! Sensei said not to..'' She declared while looking around wearily. ''Don't worry. I don't sense him near. We four are going to get the bells together.'' He paused ''It's only going to be trouble of he is hungry.''

Sakura looked down on her box hesitantly, and then lifted it up to Naruto's face. I chuckled at his teary expression, any anger having dissipated. Sakura smiled a little bit.

''Thankyou..'' Naruto said while trembling. ''Don't say it, just eat.'' ''But...'' ''I am on a diet, go on!'' He then pointed out his inmobility by trying to move. ''Hurry up, we don't know when he is going to come back.'' Sasuke huffed.

''I am only going to do this once!'' ''I understand~!'' Then she started feeding him. But... The Kakashi had to be spying on us like the good ninja he was.

A gust of wind interrupted us, following with a blast of smoke. ''YOU FOUR!'' Kakashi screamed. I got loose of my ropes and got into a defensive stance. ''You four broke the rule. Are you prepared for punishment?''

Thunder striked above us. The ground quaked. ''Any last words?'' By now, Sakura was shaking on her knees covering her head. ''B-but...'' Naruto stuttered. ''But you said...!'' ''We are a four man team, right?'' Sakura recovered fairly quickly ''Yeah, that's right!'' ''We will stand for each other, no matter what!'' I finished. ''That's right!''

''You four are one, huh?'' He said in a dark voice, stepping closer to us. I stood in front of the three, kunai in hands. It was sickeningly silent, excluding the thunder's raging roars.

''You pass!''  We had expressions of confusion, in my case, I was shocked. ''Pass? Why?'' Sakura inquired. ''You three are the first.'' The clear sky could be seen now, along with the radiant sun, ''People I had previously were blockheads who just listened to what I said, ''Ninjas need to think beyond the normal.'' In the world of ninjas, those who break the rules are called scum...''

Kakashi looked up into the sky, ''But those who don't take care of their friends are even worse scum.'' Sakura giggled, Naruto had tears on his eyes, sasuke smirked, and I... well, I had a small smile.

''He's... he's kind of cool.'' ''The training ends here. Everyone passes! Team 7 will start doing missions starting tomorrow!'' ''Yes sir!'' ''I did it! I am a ninja!'' ''Hn'' ''Roger.''

''Let's go home!'' The four of us walking ahead. I could hear his screams, and a satisfactory smirk ended up sliding on my face. I for one, never forgave him for the K.I.A stone.
