"Just because you wake up early doesn't mean I have to get up with you!" Lena shouted from their room as Kara turned on the news, watching to see if their was anyone who needed the assistance of National City's very own Kryptonian. But Kara had forgotten to adjust the volume after last night's movie night.

Kara supersped to the TV remote and muted it as fast as possible. She could deal with only subtitles if it meant Lena could sleep just a tad longer (well, she also doesn't want to deal with an cranky Lena at 5 in the morning).

"Nevermind!," Lena shouted again, obviously irritated, "I'm up now, I gue---oh!"

"What?" Kara said with a mouth full of eggs and sausage.

The sight of Kara in her Supergirl suit just solved Lena's irritation towards Kara, she never ever gets tired of seeing Kara in her red skirt and her house crest on her chest. Kara thinks its funny.

"Come here, I want to see you." Lena said.

Kara smiled to her self for a moment before she supersped to Lena, wrapping her arms around her waist, as Lena pulled her fingers through Kara's perfect golden hair.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you look in the morning?"

"Has anyone ever told you how charming you look in that skirt?"

"Shut up," Kara breathed out as she pushed her grinning lips onto Lena's lips. After a quick make out, they looked eachother in the eyes, wishing this was the only thing they had to worry about for the rest of their lives, was just eachother. But of course, every good moment must come to an end.

A deafening sound rattled through Karas head bringing her to her knees in pain. She whined as the sound seemed to be getting louder.

"Oh my God Kara! Can you hear me, I'm right here see? Kara!?" Lena kept asking Kara.

"Oh Rao, make it--make it s-stop!" Kara groaned as her hands were pressing down on her ears, which had just begun to bleed.

As soon as Kara's nose started bleeding, the ringing sensation came to a halt. Then, the TV started playing a strange message.

"To all the aliens on this planet we know as Earth, you don't belong here. No one will protect you and no one CAN protect you, even your trusted hero, Supergirl. We strongly encourage you to leave this planet and retreat back to your own, filthy planet, or we will forcibly remove you our self, and trust me, you don't want that..." The message, which sounded like a distorted AI voice, then disappeared from the TV, thanks to the DEO. No one else needed to hear that except for them.

"Hey hey hey hey," Lena said softly as Kara looked at the palms of her hands, which were red with blood from her ears, "Kara are you okay?" She didn't answer. Lena then put her hand on Kara's shoulder, "Kara what happened?" Lena asked shortly after.

"Lena, I'm fine, just keep it down a little." Kara whispered, looking down at her hands, still feeling incredibly vulnerable as her head throbbed from what she just experienced.

"Okay no problem, let's clean you up, yeah?" Kara nodded and pushed herself up onto the couch.

A few moments passed, Lena was wiping Kara's ears which was a bit hard because she kept flinching every time she applied a bit of pressure.

"I've never felt that pain before."

"Well, what exactly was that pain?"

"It was like a high pitched ringing, or frequency that just attacked my ears, oh Rao that was awful."

"Hey you're okay now, we should probably get you to the DEO."
