"Alex!" Maggie opened the door to the locker room.

"Maggie!" Alex said, not expecting Maggie to show up this soon. "I'm over here." She said shortly after.

"Hey," Maggie came up to Alex and wrapped her in a big hug, "I heard you needed someone to talk too." She kissed Alex's head.

"Yeah, but, um, how did you get here so quick?"

"Well," Maggie released Alex from her embrace, "I told them I had a family emergency, simple as that. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, um--okay. I just don't want to interfere with your job, you know."

"Danvers," Maggie places her hands on Alex's shoulders, "I would drop anything I was doing just to make sure you're okay."

Maggie removed her arms and gave her a sad smile. Then Alex dropped her head into her hands and started sobbing. Surprised by Alex's sudden emotional outburst, Maggie grabbed Alex and re-directed her over to the bench so they could sit and talk.

"Oh Alex, you're okay babe." Maggie kept whispering Alex reassurances as she cried it all out on her shoulder. This morning was far too emotional for her to keep it in any longer.

Finally, Alex got to a point where she had calmed down enough to speak to Maggie.

"Maggie, can I trust you."

"Yes, Al."

Alex took a deep breath and stood up and started pacing the room, then she stopped in front of a still seated Maggie and was ready to finally tell her who her sister really is.

"For you to understand and help me right now, I am about to tell you something that only a small number of people in my life know. Now, truly, this isn't my secret to tell, but I have been talking about letting you in for a long time and now seems like that moment." And I'm sure Kara wouldn't mind, right? she also thought.

Maggie stood up. What the hell is she talking about?  she thought. "Alex, you know you can tell me anything, but you are kind of scaring me."

"Okay, how do I say this," Alex said to her self before looking at Maggie and continuing, "My sister, Kara, is Supergirl."

"Holy shit," Maggie pinched the bridge of her nose, and after a moment she said, "So, you mean to tell me, Kara is Supergirl? Kara, who is all sunshine and rainbows, has the alter ego of a God damn Superhero?"

"Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying." Alex said looking at Maggie who was still shocked as ever. "And now, she is injured and I just operated on her and now I just need her to be okay because I don't know what I would do with out her." Alex sits back down on the bench and her face falls into her hands yet again.

And Maggie is right by her side. "If your sister is anything like you, there is no chance in hell she's dying. The Danvers sisters are too stubborn to die, right?"

Alex doesn't answer, but instead leans into Maggie to feel her warmth. Just what she needed she thought. Alex didn't do the best job at talking when she needs to, so all those emotions from this eventful morning finally just bursted out of her.

"So your not mad then?" Alex asked as she sniffled.

"Mad that your sister is the most badass Superhero? How could I?" Maggie said happily, trying to cheer Alex up.

"She's gonna love that you said that about her." Chuckled Alex.

"Oh I'm sure she will." Maggie placed a kiss on Alex's head.

They sat like that for a while and then decided to go walk over to the med-bay to check up on the Super.

Lena was sitting, or more like sleeping, in a chair right next to Kara's bed, where Kara lay all bruised, broken, and bandaged. Alex and Maggie, hand in hand, make their way to the window looking into the med-bay.
