Your p.o.v.

I was front row at my first ritual, I was ecstatic when I heard the opening riff to Cirice. Ghosts Grammy winning song and the song that started it all for me. Soon enough Papa appeared on stage wearing his massive black bat wings, he approached the mic at center stage and began to sing in that gorgeous and hypnotic voice of his. I closed my eyes and sang along with him and the crowd who sang the words to the iconic love song back to him.

The music echoed throughout the venue in a way that I would never forget. I didn't record it on my phone because this song means the world to me. And I had already recorded so many other songs. Somewhere in the back of my mind I wanted to be ciriced but, even if I didn't get picked, I didn't mind it, all I wanted was to take in every moment so I could remember it all.

All of a sudden Papa made his way over to my side of the stage:

"Can't you see that you're lost?" he sang.

I felt my face flush and my body begin to shake with a mix of emotions as he got closer to me.

"Can't you see that you're lost without me?" he sang.

Just like that he reached out and took me by the hand. My friend who was standing next to me screamed and took out their phone to record me getting ciriced. I swear I didn't expect it to happen! It had been so long since he took a person's hand and sang to them.

We looked at one another in the eyes and sang to one another as lovers would do. His gorgeous eyes along with his beautiful singing voice casting a spell on me. I couldn't believe this was happening! When the verse was complete, he bent down to kiss my hand. Then he leaned forward, and I got to kiss him on the cheek. He let go of my hand but, before he could walk away, I took off one of my rings and gave it to him. He smiled and blew me a kiss to thank me for the ring and I screamed when he slid it onto his finger. Then he gave me a wink before running off to the other side of the stage.
