  ----Recap----

"Copia? if you were a papa, what do you think you would do first?"

Copia studied your question for a moment. His first thought was something along the lines of stupidity. Knowing full well that he enjoyed being a stand-up comedian. Humor was his specialty. But in this moment, he had a better answer.

"Well, I imagine a lot of things. A lot of responsibility, rituals to prepare and consider of course. But aside from all that, I really want to wear skull paint. I would want to decide what design first, something different from what my brothers had done." he said. The idea of becoming papa seemed absurd. Yet he really wanted to be a papa, it was his dream after all. "I don't know, what do you think?"

"I think skull paint would suit you greatly, and...." I caught one of Copias rats yawning, then going back to sleep at the foot of his bed. I noticed the one rats mouth, and how it seemed to be different from the other rats. Then I looked at my rat skull ring that he had given me as a gift when I was very new to the ministry. An idea had come to me then.

"Hey, what if your skull paint resembled a rat skull."

Copias heart sank. "Awh, I would like that very much!" I giggled at how he lit up.

---End of recap---

    ---Meanwhile backstage---

You were helping Copia get ready for the ritual, trying to perfect his skull paint for the first time. He had a bit of a similar look when he revealed his new identity to the people of Mexico, but this one was different. You were applying his final look.

You were using a brush to fill in the circles around the eyes, then on his cheeks where the circles were oddly shaped. Once the brush moved against his cheek he moved, giggling to himself.

     "Hold still Papa!" you laughed.

    "Hehehe, it's tickles!"

"I'm almost done, just bear with me for a second."

You did your best to finish the makeup, but he kept laughing which caused you to stop and have a giggle with him. But you had to hurry because it was nearly time for the meet and greet guests to arrive.

After a few tries, you finally got it done. Needless to say, you were really impressed with your creation. You just stood there staring at him.

"You ok Y/N? is something the matter?"

          "You look...." you started.

          "What?"

His complexion really resembled a rat skull, and you didn't know how else to describe it. "Are you ready?"

    "Yes! please! let me see!"

You grabbed a small mirror and turned it towards Copia, you stood up slowly with a gasp. He too was speechless. "It's a rat skull." you nodded. If Copia could well up with tears he could. But instead, he kept his composure.

"I remember when I asked you the question, and I've kept the answer ever since. I wanted to wait until the right moment to give it to you."

Copia seemed so touched by your words that made his heart flutter and his inner child scream with joy.

"I love you so much Y/N, thank you!" you met his embrace. Holding him closely, but not too much that it would smudge the paint.

"Now, go get dressed. Your children await you."
