ELARA
Leo had his arm around my shoulder walking me through the gym doors and out into the palace hallways. He was laughing away to himself quietly while I was very much deep in thought. God I couldn't wait to get back to my room and take a bath, the workout that Leo had me do made my muscles ache and my body become sticky with sweat. We rounded the corner in comfortable silence and Leo dropped me off at my door, we exchanged a sweaty hug goodbye and he told me he would catch me later.
I stepped inside my room and closed the door quietly taking a deep breath in before releasing a sigh. I could smell Hades on the T-shirt he gave me to cover myself with and whatever cologne he was wearing had my sences wanting more, it was almost addictive and had me willingly wanting to become the addict. As much as I wished I could have stayed in his T-shirt all day I did smell rather bad and needed to get myself sorted. I was tired but I wanted to explore the palace more as I was sure I had not seen the very least of it.
I walked to the bathroom and started to draw a nice warm bath adding what had become my new favourite rose scented bubble bath. I wasted no time in stripping off and sinking myself in to the water feeling the bubbles float around me. I felt so at peace as I washed myself down and scrubbed the dirt from my hair away with a honey suckle shampoo bar. The steam that filled the bathroom created a rather relaxing fog so I leant back and close my eyes sighing in content. I lay for a while thinking about everything and nothing all at once, letting my mind wonder to my fresh memories of Hades shirtless - I shall have that image burned into my brain for eternity... I mean I could defiantly think of worse sights to have seen. Something Leo had said as he pulled me away from the weapon training area and out of the gym lingered in my thoughts as I questioned the meaning behind it. I imagine Leo saw me become flustered When Hades Gave me his T-shirt and saved me from my embarrassment by getting me out of there with hast, but he mentioned something about a bite.
Leo was spouting some nonsense about me catching the kings attention before stating 'Careful he doesn't bite'. Why Would King Hades Bite, and why me? The King of this world had not graced me with much of his attention, and just like his title suggests he was a literal God. I was sure the king could capture the heart of any female he wanted with his dark hair that curled ever so slightly at the ends, and this fiery eyes that seemed to shift colour depending on his mood. Hades was gorgeous with eyelashes so thick and long I was almost jeoulus of him. I was certain that if anyone had captured the Kings attention I would be the last candidate to be eligible, and as for the biting I had no clue... maybe it was just a saying around here. I mean My parents always tucked me in at night and said 'good night, sleep tight and don't let the boogey man bite', maybe Hades being king of the underworld brought a connection with that and it stuck? I opened my eyes again as I felt the waters temperature growing cooler stopping my internal monologue of questions running rampant in my mind. The coolness of the bath water reminded me of the chills that ran though me whenever the king entered the room and my heart beat faster when he sat close to me at meal times. I had put it all down to him being so important and a new face to me, but a tugging feeling in my mind had me wanting to know more.
I stepped out of the bath and wrapped myself in one of the fluffy towels that had been left for me warming on a towel rack. Picking up my clothes I put them all in the dirty washing basket, hesitating on what to do with the kings T-shirt - I shrugged and took it with me into my room and threw it on my bed for later... I did need something comfy to wear to bed after all. I dried my hair roughly and used a claw clip to pin the stands at the front of my head to the back, and open my wardrobes to see what other beautiful items Aphrodite had graciously left me.
