As usual, after another two weeks, Beidou had another transport to Inazuma. I didn't even care what she was transporting there and for whom. For me it was an indescribable joy. As soon as we docked, I left the ship immediately and rushed deeper into Ritou. I didn't care if the captain noticed I was gone. Back then, I just needed to see people I really liked and felt more confident with them than with the crew.
Thoughtfully, I walked ahead and looked around at this beautiful place. I could see a great city in the distance, but I didn't have time to go that far. I quietly hoped that someday we would stay here longer and wander further than Ritou.
I looked up and watched the clouds. Even they seemed different here, the sun looked brighter, even the smell of the air was different. I could walk for hours, staring up at that clear sky. Who would have thought that near this wonderful island, in the sea, there is a powerful storm raging through which it is difficult to swim through. Even for the Crux crew it was a challenge, but they developed some way to pass safely. Personally, I wasn't really interested in it. It was hard but for Beidou nothing is impossible.
I was too busy thinking and looking at the sky, and I only realized when I guess I tripped over something and went straight at a tall man. He quickly put everything he had in his hands on the table where he was standing and with a smooth movement he grabbed me. For a while I was undergoing a shock what actually happened, and during this time he set me steadily on the ground and took his purchases.
- Be careful, next time you can do something to yourself - the green-eyed blond man with the headband smiled at me. - Hey, aren't you one of the Crux crew?
I was surprised where he could associate me from. It was only then that I remembered that when I was even younger, Beidou was transporting Liyue specialties for the Kamisato Clan, one of the best known in Inazuma. This clan had a butler or something like that, and when he wasn't busy helping with the unloading, he used to play with me so that I wouldn't disturb the working crew. We got along quite well due to the slight age difference. Of course, I couldn't get off the deck then, so all the fun was going on there, even though it was often dangerous. He wanted to show me the clan mansions and the rest of Inazuma many times, but it was impossible. I think I learned the most about this place thanks to him. His stories very often resembled fairy tales, which made me even more interested in it then. I felt he was my best friend at the time. We used to be here more often then, at least once a week. However, when the Kamisato Clan stopped using Beidou's transport for unknown reasons, I also lost touch with my friend and haven't met him since then. Years later, I forgot about him completely and I had to see his face again to remember him. I wanted to throw myself on his neck then, but I stopped myself because I preferred not to risk it. I decided to just lead the conversation:
- That's right, [Y/N] from the Crux crew.
- Thoma, the housekeeper of Clan Kamisato, it's been a while since we last saw each other, huh? Back then, neither of us asked for a name. Captain Beidou finally let you disembark or are you traveling alone? Or maybe you are looking for someone?
- I don't have consent, but you can say that I am looking for someone.
- Tell who, I know many people in Inazuma, maybe I can help you find who you are looking for.
- Thank you, do you know Kazuha and Tomo? Mostly here I used to meet them when they were hanging out. It would be nice to meet Gorou too, but apparently he hangs out more on Watatsumi Island from what I have concluded.
- I know all three, Kazuha and Tomo I saw today at one of the cherry trees, I can take you, as for Gorou, you must be right, he has a lot of military matters, he is a general after all.
