Blakely sat in this position for three hours before her phone rang, she groaned and picked up, "yes?"

"Are you up for a lesson?"

It was Jay, "not exactly, if you're cool with it, I'll send Ethan."

"Whose Ethan?"

"One of Raine's brothers, he's in college but he's not far from here, You're 18, right?"

Jay's tone was laced with confusion, "yes?"

"Ethan's 19 and flirts with anyone he can get away with. Just making sure I don't have to tell him you're off limits." Without waiting for an answer, she hung up and she texted Ethan telling him to come get her keys then meet Jay at her garage.

A half an hour later a rock was thrown at her window. She peered out and saw Ethan with a big smile. A worried look took over his face as he pulled out his phone, 'What happened to your eye?'

There he goes acting like a big brother again, 'It's stupid don't worry about it,' she sent back before opening the window and tossing her keys down. "Don't kill him," again, she waited for no answer before closing the window.

She was so annoyed with Audrey for not talking to her, at Raine for actually leaving though in all actuality she couldn't be to mad at that, she did tell her to go. At Evie for putting her in this position. At her brother for being, well her brother. No matter what she did she always seemed to mess up, she made Audrey her best friend since Pre prep upset, she let Evie get to her head. True the girl hadn't done anything yet; it had only been a couple days. It was on Blakely, and it was completely irresponsible of her.

The Princess of Calamity strikes again.

She wondered what her golden child of a brother was doing right now.

4 o'clock rolled around and she realized she needed to go check on the VK's with Ben. She changed into her riding outfit so she could clear her head afterwards and looked in the mirror to fix her hair and eye. She placed a glowing hand under her eye, but nothing happened, "not now please not now." When Blakely got too emotional her powers acted up making it nearly impossible to get what she wanted done and usually got the opposite effect. "Ow damnit!" She screamed now having a burn under her eye as well, "Mother of Herkie!"

Said boy happened to be in the hallway and was tilting his head at her as she exited her room, "I didn't mean anything about Meg," she assured him before walking down the hall towards her brother before he could ask about her eye. Why a godly child went to a high school for mostly mortals was beyond her. As far as she knew he wanted to, 'understand mortal life.'

She sluggishly approached Ben, who was waiting by the girls dorm. "What happened to your eye?" he asked in concern lifting her head to check on her.

"I don't want to talk about it," he could see the floor burning under her steps, so he knew her powers were acting up. Why was a mystery.

Jay walked into Mal and Evie's dorm after his lesson with Ethan. He quite liked the young man no matter how flirtatious he was. In fact, he didn't mind the attention given how affection starved he was as a kid. He actually loved it. Ethan never took his eyes off Jay the whole time unless he was adjusting his grip or position on the bike. It was nice to be the center of someone's attention who wasn't yelling at him as he ran down an ally.

He almost felt bad about what he was saying. Almost, "did your plan work with Jane? Are you going to see the wand?" He asked.

Mal groaned, "do you think I would be going through every spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out? Not to mention because of Evie, Blakely is avoiding us so it's not like we can get her to trust us enough to tell us anything or pry her head open and see what bothers her." Jane had mentioned Blakely being self-conscious about something and she wanted to use that to her advantage, but she couldn't if she was never around.
