"Why should I do that Daddy?!" Leni was furious when she heard the proposal of her dad.
"We don't have any much choice anak. Kailangan mong pakasalan ang anak ng president. That's our duty to our country" his dad looks down.
That's the only way to make the country united after several wars.
"Gagawin niyo akong alay para sa kasunduan between PDP and Liberal?!"
"Anak, madami ng buhay ang nawala dahil sa pag kakawatakwatak ng Pilipinas. Ito lang ang paraan para tayo ay mag kaisa."
She heard her mom crying while her sisters are looking at her. She immediately felt the burden of being the panganay. Kailangan niyang siguraduhin ang kapakanan ng mga kapatid niya. Kung mag papatuloy ang gera sa Pilipinas, hindi mag kakaron ng maayos na buhay ang mga kapatid niya.

The deal was already made. She's going to marry Bongbong Marcos against her will.
While her parents was talking to Bongbong's parents, she decided to walk at Malacañang's garden.
She kept telling herself that she's doing this for her sisters.
"You shouldn't be here Leonor" when she look back, she saw her fiancé.
"And why not?" She asked.
"It's dangerous here" he said
"Eh bakit ka andito?"
"I'm a man"
"So? Don't you think I can't defend myself because I'm a woman?"
"No, I mean no one will try to harm me in anyway, unlike you"
"It's the same thing" she proceed in her walk without looking back at her but she saw his shadow.
"Alam kong ayaw mong makasal sakin" he said but she did not respond.
She continue to walk and in her surprise he keeps following her, "I'm in love with someone else. Her name is Louise, I met her at the USA. We were together until my dad told me na kailangan kong umuwi to marry you. I don't have much of a choice dahil naka pasan sakin ang kapayapaan ng Pilipinas" he continue.
"It's clear that we both doesn't want this marriage" he added
Leni stop and looks at him.
"So what are we going to do?"
"Nothing, we have to do this. Hindi na pwedeng may dugong dumanak dahil lang inisip natin ang sarili natin."
"I know" she said
He cup her face and said, "Let's just get married. Let's do this for the Filipinos. You don't have to love me because I will never love you"
