Nathan's POV

I waited impatiently for Max in my room. I tried not to think too much about what I was about to do, but thoughts crept into my mind anyways.

Call me a slut but I wanted sex.

I loved Jay, sure, but he just never gave it to me. He loved to cuddle, which I loved, but I wished he wouldn't be so meticulously careful with me. I wanted to do something interesting. I wanted to be sore every now and again.

No, this is so wrong. I love Jay. I don't love Max. Life is good. I shouldn't screw it up.

If I don't, Tom will.

A knock against the door brought me out if my thoughts. I ran through a million different ideas as I walked to the door. By the time I pulled it open, I had decided this was a bad idea and I would just send Max home or to the bar or wherever Tom was.

Then I saw Max standing there. I couldn't tell the emotions in his eyes but I thought I saw a flash of... Lust, maybe?

I grabbed him by the collar and dragged him into my room, kicking the door with my foot. My lips found his easily. I waited for him to react for a moment. When he didn't, I kept going. I pushed his lips apart. I could feel him hesitate just before he pulled back.

"Nathan, no. That's not why I'm here."

I moved down his neck and back up to his ear and whispered, "then why?"

"It's not right," he pushed me back and held me an arms length away.

"So?" I cocked an eyebrow, "you still want me. I can see it in your eyes. Why don't you just accept this as a gift?"

"Because... I don't want Tom to..."

"Max," I growled, "he won't. Right now, I imagine he's having just as fun fun with Jay as we should be right now."

"You don't-" I attacked his lips again, moving near his ear. I found his sweet spot and he knew it. And there wasn't anything he could do about it now. I bit down softly and he tossed his head back and moaned. I pushed him down on the bed and straddled his hips. He moaned again, and I kept going, knowing how much he wanted me now. I traced my hands along his abs hidden underneath his shirt, finally pushing Max over the edge. His hands grasped my hips and he was on top of me, grinning at me as his eyes filled with lust. He licked his lips and it was all I could do to remain still at that moment.

His eyes glinted almost bluish in the dim light.

Blue eyes.

Jay's blue eyes.

Damn, he has got the most amazing eyes...

I think Max saw my eyes glaze over.

He got off the bed and stood up.

My eyes filled with tears. Tears for Jay. Tears for Max. Tears for my extremely screwed up relationships.

"Max... I'm sorry. I just-"

"This was wrong. I'm sorry, too, Nathan."

"Can you-"

"I'm going to my room. I'm going to wait for Tom, and I'm going to tell him I love him and that I never want to lose him. We can just-"

"Forget this ever happened." I finished.

"Bye, Nath," Max tried to grin as he hopped out of the door.

I rolled over and curled up in a ball. I stared at the wall until I fell asleep and didn't realize it until I woke up the next morning.
