Tom's POV
Jay had been giving me strange looks all day. He kept cutting his eyes at me during the interview and he kept...touching me. His hand on my shoulder as he walked by my seat at lunch. His sly bump into my side as we were walking... Don't get me wrong, it sent chills down my spine.
But you've got a boyfriend, Tom. A loving, perfect boyfriend.
During one if the interviews at the radio station, Jay bent down next to me to get his water, but let his hand travel slowly and discreetly down my leg from my thigh. I tried to hide the shiver that courses through my body before he stood up and smirked at me before returning to his seat next to Nathan.
Near the end of the interview, I gave up and excused myself. I listened to the interview end before Jay made his way hastily back to the dressing room. His blue eyes locked with my brown ones before my head shut down. Before I fully processed what I was doing, I ran my lips along Jay's and down his collarbone. Now, it was his turn to shiver. Pulled away quickly and we turned and faced our different mirrors, making ourselves seem busy.
"Why's you leave early?" Max asked as he moved next to me, close enough that our arms touched slightly.
"I just...wasn't feeling well at the moment, so I came back here to cool down. My cheeks were already enflamed. Max put his hand on my head a d shrugged before taking my face and pressing his lips to mine. Something was off and we both felt it, he sighed and pulled away, turning back to his mirror, not that he had any hair to try and act like he was styling.
My phone buzzed with a text from Jay.
Max's POV
I watched Tom stiffen out if the corner of my eye as Jay went to get his water. They were both being weird today. Tom had barely met my eyes longer than two seconds at all. It gave me a horrible feeling. What if I was losing Tom? To who?
God, Max. Calm down. Tom loves you. He's fine. Trust. Breathe.
Yeah, I was over exagerrating.
"So, you know we have to ask, who's single an who's in a relationship?"
The dreaded question. I glanced at Tom. I'd been begging him to go public for a month now. He barely shook his head, so only I could see. I sighed and sat back, "I'm single."
"Me too" Nathan and Jay followed.
"If I have someone, they haven't told me yet" Tom laughed.
"I've got Nareesha!" Siva grinned, we all rolled our eyes. He knew very well we were all in relationships.
Tom stiffened again. "Hey sorry guys, finish off the interview without me?"
I frowned as he got up and walked off. Something was up. Whatever it was, I was gonna figure it out if it killed me, which it might.
Nathan's POV
"I think we should have a night in," I suggested, resting my head against Jay's chest.
He put his hand on my head, and for a second, I completely forgot about my worries. I relaxed for second. I was in a state of complete calm for the first time in days.
"Can we watch Avatar?" he asked, smiling.
Moment over. We watched Avatar every time we stayed in. I turned to face him and frowned.
"We watched Avatar last time AND the time before that," I complained.
"Well I want to watch Avatar!" he grinned at me.
I needed an escape. I could NOT watch Avatar again, even if it was with Jay.
"Actually, Jay, I think I'm going to catch up with Max," I announced.
