Summer's POV
I woke up the next day with a massive headache. We must have got stoned last night. I never let myself get like that but I guess yesterday was an exception. I don't know where Sam went or what he did last night but we didn't see any sight of him after the argument. I'm still a bit upset about me and Sam's break up but I don't want to be with someone who keeps hurting me and my friends. He may be a good guy but he sure knows how to push people's buttons.
I finally opened my eyes fully to find myself in Johnson's room. I must have passed out last night on his floor. I sit up, stretching my arms and back after a rough nights sleep on the floor. I look to my left and see Johnson and Gilinsky in the bed and Nate led next to it on the floor. I on the other hand was in the corner of the room for some reason. I guess that will remain a mystery seeing that we were all probably too stoned to remember. I stand to my feet, holding my head and regaining my balance. Once I do, I go downstairs to make everyone breakfast.
I go to the fridge and see that its nearly empty. Great. Looks like we are going out for breakfast this morning. I glance at the clock and see its 1pm. More like brunch then. I jog back up the stairs, making sure I took some painkillers for my headache before I did. I went back into Johnsons room and went to wake them up. I walk over to the bed, climbing onto it, standing up. I jump on the bed, screaming:
"Wake up! Wake up!"
Johnson shoots up straight away, scared by my actions. Gilinsky wake up after a while, rolling off the bed, accidently falling onto Nate which makes him wake up and making an 'ooof' sound when Gilinsky lands onto him. By this time I was in fits of laughter, as for Johnson. Gilinsky gets off Nate and we all just start laughing. Then I decide to tell them why I woke them up.
"C'mon guys. We are going out for brunch and then to the beach" I say, getting off the bed and take a seat on Nate's lap. Johnson and Gilinsky look at us with a smirk and I give them the evil eyes. They chuckle to themselves.
"Well you guys need to get out so I can shower" Johnson says shooing us out. We exit his room and Gilinsky goes to his and me and Nate head to my room because I asked him to help me what to wear to the beach today.
"So this, or this?" I say, holding up a black and white bikini and a bright pink bikini.
"U-uh.. the pink one?" he suggests, looking a bit uncomfortable.
"Good choice" I reply, chucking it onto my bed along with a pair of shorts and a cover up top.
"Now shoo, I need to get ready" I say, pushing him out the door.
"Wait, wait! I need to ask you something" he says putting his foot in between the door before I could shut it. I open it again and wait for him to say something.
"Will you uh, go on a date with me sometime" he asks nervously.
"Sure, tomorrow night?" I ask him, smiling widely.
"Perfect" he replies. I smile at him, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before closing the door. He finally asked me on a date. I already had butterflies.
Nate's POV
I finally plucked up the courage to ask Summer on a date. I don't know how I did it without breaking down into a sweat of nerves but I did it. When she was asking me to pick her swimsuit I was getting so turned on just imagining her in one of those bikini's. Thankfully I didn't get a boner, which was good, otherwise we would have way more issues that we already do right now. Look at me, im chuckling to myself.
I go to my room and get ready, putting on some boxers, khaki's and a tank top. I fixed my hair and then put on my snapback. I slip on some vans and then brush my teeth quickly. After freshening up, I go downstairs and wait for everyone to get downstairs. I haven't heard from Sammy since last night, who knows where he is. The Jack's and Summer finally come down the stairs and Johnson looks a bit off.
"Yo J, everything good?" I ask.
"Uh yeah. I invited Mike and John, but we have a slight problem" he says.
"Why? What going on?"
"Sammy is with them" he says.
"Seriously? Ah well. Screw Sammy, we will enjoy ourselves anyway. Lets just go" Summer says and walks out the door to the car.
"Well damn" Gilinsky says and we all chuckle. We all head out the door, Gilinsky locking it behind. We jump into Summer's car as she was already in it and she had started the engine. I get in the passenger seat and the Jack's hop in the back. We were meeting the others there after brunch. Summer backs out the drive and I plug my phone into the AUX cord, playing me and Johnson's song 'Ride Wit Me'. We all jammed out to it on the way to the beach. This was going to be a good day, I could just feel it.
