Prologue
Aru Shah had basically everything mastered. Karate. Lightning bolting people. Flying. She even had those movie references pinned down! But the one thing she couldn't grasp?
The art of boy.
Aiden Acharya, her crush for who-knows-how-long, was the only thing that got in the way of finally being cool. But around Aiden?
Awkward. And it clearly showed.
And that wasn't the worst. The worst was that she was pretty sure that Aiden liked Kara, her blood sister, and that hurt. So she just had to keep her cool whenever she saw Kara and Aiden talking to each other. How? Leave the room, obviously.
How did she cope? Did Aiden even like her?
