you were just about to fall asleep when you hear thunder rumbling outside your window. you immediately become anxious. you try to ignore the sound of rain pattering against the roof. you can see the bright flashes in the room when it lightnings. one more thunder crash and a lightning bolt cause you to cry. you forget that robin was right beside you.
"love its okay, its okay" robin turns over facing you. she wipes a tear away from your cheek. robin wraps her one of her arms around your waist, she uses her other to gently stroke your hair.
"how did yo-"
"shhh its girlfriend instincts" she interrupts you, you giggle.
"god youre so cute" robin speaks again. you smile and scoot closer to her, snuggling your head into the crook of her neck. thunder crashes again which causes you to jump slightly and gasp.
"its okay, its okay" robin whispers in your ear. she wipes another tear.
you kiss her neck, "i love you robin"
"i love you too y/n"
the rain continues to patter against the roof but you honestly didn't mind it because you were with robin. everything was better with robin.
you end up dozing off in robins arms. robin didnt even think to go to sleep until she knew that you had fallen asleep. she knew because of a light snore that you always had, robin adored it.
"goodnight y/n, i love you" she plants a kiss on your forehead.
