The Aether.

One Year After the Events of the Abyss

"The mind can be a powerful ally, or a dangerous enemy."

Gram calmly says to Aether as they both meditate just outside the moon base.

Aether and Gram now wearing the same garments in sleeveless full body black tunics and robes, utility belts and black capri length pants.

Aether wears his homemade boots while Gram prefers nothing on his feet, he feels it blocks his energy and connection to his surroundings.

A sun edges near and begins to rise and shed its light on Samiel's moon.

They feel the sun's warm rays bless their faces. They're meditation continues.

Gram begins to sense something wrong with Aether.

The moon rocks and gravel nearby them begin to shake and slowly rise.

Gram notices Aether sweating a lot and his head twitching periodically.

"You okay?" Gram asks, but no response.

The ground slowly starts to crack open.

"Hey! Hey wake up!" Gram frantically exclaims while shaking Aether.

The rocks and gravel quickly fall and the cracks in the ground stop growing.

"Huh? What Happened?" Aether asks confused.

"You were making rocks float and the ground crack, are you alright prime?" Gram asks concerned.

Aether looks away, his eyes locked onto the horizon.

"Gram. Do you ever think of Vonroe?" Aether asks.

Gram hangs his head. "Everyday. Its been a year since we lost him, it just haunts me knowing he did it for me, us. The Universe." Gram says with sorrow in his voice.

"Well said my friend. I've been having some weird visions of myself doing things, horrible things. Acts I know I would never commit." Aether confesses confused.

Gram listens confused.

"Hey! You guys busy?" Hendrix radios in interrupting.

"No, how may we help?" Gram asks.

Hendrix goes on to explain "Finn Hawkins just called me about a robbery that just happened in his home. I used to intern for him before he moved to Astrid, but it's not the robbery, it's what was stolen. I'm headed to you guys to explain more."

Hendrix Arrives

"The Tear. Finn explained it to be some kind of primordial power said to be the Tear of one of the Trinity, though I doubt it's acutally what the name insinuates." She explains.

Aether and Gram listen confused with Aether asking "So what do you mean "primordial power"? And what was sir Hawkins doing with it?".

Gram nods his head in agreement of Aether's questions but asks Aether, "No way the Trinity cry or that tear is theirs. Right?"

"According to what the company has on it, legend says it grants the user great power until they have fulfilled a specific task of their own choosing. Hawkins only hoped to stop the cycles of death and war the Tear once brought many years ago in a galaxy far away." Hendrix responds with a deep sigh.

Aether responds back to Gram's question, "Yeah no way, the Trinity wouldnt just leave their tears around." Chuckling a little bit.

"So, Where should we start?" Gram asks looking at Aether.
