"Your mother and I went into exile after the Great War. Thats when we begat you."

Adam stares at his father intensely as he continues.

"We could not take the risk of the Trinity ever taking our son away from us, or worse."

"Your uncle decided take you in."

Adam quickly stands embracing his father. Samiel.

"Was your uncle good to you?" Samiel asks as their hug concludes.

"He was and still is. But he is the God of knowledge at the end of each day. Not my father." Adam explains.

Samiel and Adam sit down at the dinner table while Solaris begins to lay their plates of food in front of them.

Some Days Later

The family is seated at their dinner table, enjoying their food with conversation.

"You're mother and I have always desired a life like this, ever since the first civilizations. We envied our creations. We chose Paums because a Paum's life is peaceful and quiet." Solaris nods in agreement with what Samiel said.

Adam chews his meal listening to his parents.

"But that is enough about us. Please tell me all about yourself son and hows your uncle?!" Samiel exclaims asking.

"Father I, Well like you said, I did not feel my true place was within The Company or next to uncle. Though I'm happy he did not hide my origin from me. But it only made me love and miss what I did not have. But the time we've spent these few weeks has brought me to peace." Adam explains to his mother and father with food still flooding his cheeks.

"That is amazing son. I'm sure my brother did keep much from you. He tends to do that to everyone, but he holds true to the importance of family." Samiel states frustrated with La'Vine.

"And there was also this girl. I-." But Adam is cut off by a knock on the door behind him.

Samiel stands approaching and opening the door.

He then steps outside to speak with who it is.

Samiel opens the door walking back to his seat at the table home.

He stares at Adam telling him "Someone is here for you Son."

Adam stops eating and stands opening up the door.

Adam is stunned to find out that Its Hendrix.

Adam and Hendrix embrace each other outside the door.

"I never thought I'd see you again big guy." Hendrix exclaims to him while still hugging.

Gram kneels before Samiel and his family greeting them. "Greetings Im Gram. Pleasure to meet you all. Apologies Im late, she tried to abandon me in the ship."

Hendrix chuckles explaining "Because I knew you'd get all ceremonial with them."

"They are the Gods, you-" Before Gram could finish his sentence Hendrix shoots something from her wrist, silencing Gram.

"I know who they are, but we don't have time for pleasantries. Aether needs us." 

Samiel's eyes widen. He hasn't heard that name in some time.
