Betrayed

Chapter 19

Nevaeh's pov*

Jared and I were walking to our first date.

"Where are your parents from? They seem to know a lot about this place. Where are we even going? I've never been this way. Sorry. I guess I'm nervous... "

"The place my parents went on their first date. They used to live here when they were younger but both moved to New York for college. They had us then decided to move back. Your turn." I sighed and looked at him.

"My parents hooked up my dad left my mom found out she was pregnant and left her home. She found my dad who was living with, Cameron, who is now my dad. She lived with them got in a fight with my father he went nuts and took me. I lived with him for the majority of my life and all I know is my mom used to live on this town."

"Wow. That's a lot." Jared said squeezing my hand.

"Yeah but I'm happy now that I'm with my mom." I said smiling at Jared.

After walking for another fifteen minutes we made it to a coffee shop at the edge of town. I giggled at the name.

"Why is it called Jen and men's caf ?"

"Because the woman who owns it, Jen, has seven sons and they all work for her." I smiled at the place and walked in. Jared sat us at the bar. Pic to the side ;)

"Well this isn't your sister.. who's this little lady?" She asked.

"My name is Nevaeh. Nevaeh Dallas."

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Nevaeh." I smiled at the woman I'm assuming is Jen and ordered my drink. After we got our food we talked and joked around. I was on my fifth root beer and I thought of a joker that is so stupid but I still laugh every time.

"Hey Jared. Why can't you hear a pterodactyl going to the bathroom?" I asked.

"Um. I don't know,why?"

"Because the pee is silent!!" I started laughing and Jared laughed at me laughing.

"You're weird, Nev."

"I know." I said blushing of embarrassment.

"It's cute." Jared said before kissing me. I smiled at him and kissed him back. We walked home joking around and just having fun. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
