"How many are there?" George said, his eyes darting from one side of the living room to the other, then the kitchen, then down Dream's hallway.

"Right now, I think I have abouttt...sixteen? Seventeen, maybe?" Dream said, ruffling his soaking hair dry with a fluffy white towel.

"And you, what? Get them dropped off here, fix them up, people Venmo you or something, and you just give them back?" George asked, running his fingers along one of the keyboards as Dream kept a close eye on him.

"Yeah, basically. Hey, people pay me anywhere between like $50 and $300 per device. It's not only laptops and computers, either- I've done phones, Kindles, even iPads. It's not a bad business to be in in 2022, when everyone has at least one device, you know?" Dream said, walking into his kitchen while still keeping a careful watch on George.

George nodded, looking at all the computers splayed across Dream's kitchen counter, half of his couch, and on his dining room table.

"Plus, with all the student loans I'll have to pay in less than a year, I'll need any extra cash I can get..." Dream paused, grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge and walking over to George. "Water?"

George turned around and smiled at Dream, grabbing the water bottle from him.

"This is really cool, Dream..." George said, sitting down on the couch while still keeping his eyes glued to one of the computers in front of him.

Dream giggled. "Thank you...you have a job as well? Or do you just take classes?"

"I wish I had enough time to work- it'd help me take my mind off my insanely fucking hard courses I have this year. God, do you know that I spent nine full days on my lap report. And that doesn't even include doing the lab itself, that was just writing it after it was done...I bet computer science is a lot less mentally taxing for you." George said, opening up the water bottle and taking a generous sip.

"Umm, I wouldn't know. I'm a Business major." Dream said.

"Ew." George retorted.

Dream chuckled, sitting down next to George. It was a pretty small couch to begin with, and there was a heavy computer monitor that took up one whole couch cushion, so Dream and George sat only an inch or two away from each other.

"Ew?!" Dream questioned.

"If you're this good at tech-related things and mechanical stuff, why wouldn't you do a major like engineering or comp sci?" George asked.

"Well, I already know basically all there is to know about computers- software, hardware, how they work, how to fix them- so why would I go to school for that? What I don't know a lot about is to make an actual business out of this- a business that I can actually make a decent living off of, not just a few hundred dollars a week."
