I stepped on the edge of the building, and ready to jump off.
I paused when I saw the view from here.
"I suppose I won't be able to enjoy such a breathtaking view again," I lamented with a heavy heart, just moments before taking the plunge.
The wind is cold.
I mentally laughed.

As I closed my eyes, ready to face my impending demise, my phone suddenly vibrated, startling me out of my trance.
With trembling hands, I reached for my phone and slightly opened my eyes to take a look at the screen.
It's a call from my ex gf
I answered it.
"I love you, Anne! I choose you! I left everything, Let's go somewhere far. Please take me away from here. Meet me at---"
Those were the last words I heard before everything went black.
