The cell was in Shambles that the bunkbed had been thrown from its side and a metal bar I've been ripped off that somehow found its way in the wall smashing the sink, The toilet had been completely smashed like a vice and there was spare letter on some parts of the wall in the middle of the wreckage was izuku and Mindy sitting side-by-side breathing heavily completely out of breath and with bruises on their faces and arms are too had gone at it for hours eventually finally giving into exhaustion and sitting down in and deciding to talk
Izuku complimented her fighting ability: good backflips... You almost had me when you managed to backflip yourself into my jaw
TheSmaller Anti-Hero complimented him back: thanks, good form on the Chinese martial arts course you might wanna loosen up your fingers you almost broke them when you hit me in the stomach just because you hit one of my vital points doesn't mean that it's not strong there
Izuku wiping away some sweat: thanks for the heads up... Listen I know that neither of us really like each other but I always put us together for a reason we might as well try and get along
Mindy: why Aunty why you wanna kiss the ass of that woman
Izuku sounded offended: I don't believe me, in fact I'm not completely convinced this is all part of some elaborate scheme for you to either kill me or for me to kill you I've pissed her off a lot of times so she's eager to get rid of me
Mindy enquired: what did you do to get it so angry with you
The older of the antiheroes lean forwards as he removed one of his teeth that had been sort of knocked out in from a roundhouse punch from hit girl: well let's see for starters I blackmailed her into not going through with her evil plan to imprison innocent Super powered teenagers into joining her suicide squad, then I brought back a target that she told me to kill but then the rest of her team agreed that we should keep her alive so yeah I'm not in her good books also the couple of times I've screwed her over during a mission like when I placed my tracking device on a different car and they spent like hours trying to find me again. Oh yeah I forgot I made a deal with the head guard of the prison and I keep the other prisoners in line we get more liberties like better food and bird choice on what you're going to do every day of the week of course we have to do all of them but at the very least you don't have to clean the showers on a Monday morning because that is the worst
Hit girl confused: why is that so bad?
Izuku A little grossed out when he had to explain it: what you see killer croc has to shed his skin once every week and unfortunately he chooses to do that during the shower ... Let's just say it looks like crocodile massacre in there there's so much blood in scales the worst part is you don't know what part of The body of the scales are from its disgusting
Mindy was slightly creeped out imagining something like that: okay thanks for the heads up... And you're right as breaking the room isn't gonna get us anywhere and so what do you wanna do because I don't wanna be friends with you because I'm in here because I was trying to make a difference and a lot of people didn't agree with my message so I'm technically A hero you could be a murderer in Canada for all I know
Izuku: do you really think Waller would put you in my cell if I was like that she put us together because we're similar to each other in a way. Look I know you lost your dad
The mention of her father made her flinch and elbow the other antihero in the stomach: don't talk about my dad!
izuku gagged a bit: okay okay but I can't understand how that feels I lost my mum. Like you I had to watch her die right in front of me as a crazed lunatic broke into our house and just killed her for fun
The older vigilante looked down Adam self ashamed as he remembered those moments of pure terror Time when he was so scared he could barely even move the time he was so scared that he felt like he was going to pass out. Nearly on the other hand just looked at him sympathetic she understood how he was feeling she understood what it was like to lose a parent
Izuku: anyway because the three of them were considered to be in saying they weren't properly charged and then someone got away with it about three months later they got out of the asylum supposedly with a clean bill of health and I could do nothing except watch as the man who killed my mother and basically got away with it until I stepped in...
Mindy already predicting how the story ends: you killed them didn't you
He nodded but instead of seeming happy about it he seemed ashamed which confused a little girl she wanted nothing more than to rip the heart out of the man who killed her father she wanted to feel the vengeance in a rush it felt to make her feel at peace. So seeing someone they did exactly that ashamed of themselves was confusing to her
Izuku: yeah I did but I tortured them like really tortured in my head all of them begging for death by the time I was done.
Mindy: I don't get it what is on with those guys got with a desert why do you look so sad? Do you not have the stomach for something like that
Izuku: I do believe me on my last mission I tied someone to A man-made electric chair just watched his brain fry I'm okay with making other people suffer but not to the extent that I did back then. I mean I know those guys probably deserve to die but there's far and then there's too far I think I went too far I mean after I was done I was happy but... Eventually that wore off I started to wonder what the hell my mother would've thought of me if she saw me do that should be ashamed of me she's always used to say that if someone hits you you hit back but you don't hit as hard as that way you can say that you are better than them well in my case I wasn't I was much worse. I don't care if you tell me they deserve it I deserve to be behind these bars
The younger vigilante could somewhat understand the situation, it's not that he was weak willed or anything like that. It's just that he had the motion of if someone deserves to die they at least deserve to die with some dignity
Mindy: so... I guess we are not that different after all but don't think that means I wanna be friends with you or anything and I think you're right killing each other isn't gonna be productive so why don't we just say ceasefire at least until one of us give the other one a reason to
Izuku agreeing with the strange demand: yeah sure I guess it's better than trying to kill each other. Come on let's try and clean the room up to the best we can because the guards ain't gonna do it
The young girl nodded at the till began cleaning the room up the best they could of course I couldn't do anything about the sink or the toilet but they were able to pick up the shattered pieces of glass and throw it out to the bar and window room looked somewhat better if not for the leaking toilet and sink at least I had a place to sleep now
Izuku asked The question that he asked before all the madness happened: so do you want the top bunk or the bottom one
Mindy look at it for a moment: i'll take the bottom just in case they decide to stab you in your sleep
The older vigilante didn't really know how to respond to that he just climbed up at the top and made sure that the one beneath him didn't have any knives or shanks on her before she talked yourself into bed
Mindy: for what it's worth good night
Izuku: um thanks good night to you too
