Ava and Ash were in the air it was a solo hop so they would have no wingman it was all on them, Ava felt a sense of euphoria flow through her body as she soared through the air. She was ready to show everyone what she had.
"How you feeling Chaos?" Ash asked as he looked down at his pictures he kept on the dash, there was one of him and his wife and daughter the day she was born and then another of him and Ava with Goose and Maverick in the back ground.
"Feeling great. Ready to kick ass and take names." Ava whooped making Ash chuckle
"This is your first hop." Jesters voice came over the radio. "The jets you are flying against are smaller, faster, and more maneuverable, just like the enemy MiGs."
"Not a problem right Ash?" Ava asked over the radio with a chuckle
"Not at all." Ash grinned
"I'm glad your so confident Chaos, because the clock is ticking now. And we are keeping score. Good luck." Jester said
"Talk to me Ash. What do you see?" Ava asked looking around as she flew through the sky
"Got him. Coming up on your right, 7 o'clock." Ash said spotting Jesters jet speeding towards them
"Copy." Ava said jerking the stick and causing her plane to climb higher into the air
"He's on our tail and picking up speed. Closing in fast, come on Chaos do some of that pilot shit." Ash said with a whoop
"I'm gonna lead him into the sun, he'll loose sight of us." Ava said as she increased her speed sending her back against her seat as she climbed higher and higher into the sky.
"He's still there. Drop down and break left." Ash instructed knowing that with how fast they were going Jester would fly right past them
"Gotcha." Ava nodded and did as she was told making her grunt as she jerked forward
"Nice move kid." Jester said as the move caused him to fly past the two and loose the chance to get a lock on them
"Thank you sir I'm touched, really." Ava said with a smirk as she was now the one on his tail. "Come on Jester, don't run away from the fun."
Ava could hear as the man chuckled over the radio as she started closing in on him, he was good she had to give him that. But so was she.
