Lost in Your Eyes | Enrique Iglesias

Chapter 4

Even though you try to convince yourself that he only sees you as a friend, your feelings for Enrique grow stronger with each day. He has been very busy trying to film a new music video and you haven't had enough time to hang out yet your head won't stop spinning at the thought of him. 

As you sit on a rock on the beach with your headphones on, you hear someone talk to you. Taking one headphone off, you turn around to see Enrique. 

''Hey, what are you listening to?'' he says as he takes a sit next to you. 

''One of my all time favorite songs'', you say giggling. ''Heaven by Bryan Adams''. 

''I love that song'' he says as he takes one of your headphones and listens to the song. 

Slowly and almost whispering, he starts singing along. ''Baby you're all that I need..when you're lying here in my arms''  coming from Enrique cannot sound more beautiful. The both of your sit in silence and listen to the rest of the song. Out of nowhere he then takes your headphone off and says''I need to talk to you''. You nod and turn to face him. 

''Sure. What's up?'' you say curious of what it could be. 

''I will try to make it short'', he says as he grabs your hand and caresses it with his thumb. ''God you make me feel infinite emotions and I swear I had no idea someone could do this to me'' he looks at you with warm eyes. ''You just happened to be on that plane in May and put a spell on me, I don't know. I am confused, I don't know what you are doing to me but I love it'' he stutters a bit, but his voice sounds genuine. 

You are in complete awe, unable to say something back. 

''I feel so content when I am with you. Fuck, it feels like nothing is wrong anymore when I am with you'' by now, his heart is almost out of his chest. ''I want to make you feel what you make me feel. I think I am hopelessly falling for you'' he says as you skip a heartbeat. 

You caress his hand with your thumbs in an attempt to calm down the both of you. He is clearly nervous and you are clearly insanely in love. 

''I feel the same when I am with you. You make me feel safe and happy and I couldn't ask for more'' you say as you look at his handsome face and messy hair. ''I wish you could feel my insane heartbeats when I see you or when I am with you. You would be worried!'' you receive a small laugh in response. 

You move your head closer as Enrique sits frozen in fear and excitement. Your lips touch his, almost knocking all air from his lungs. Your lips shake against each other as you both take sharp breaths. It feels just as they describe it in movies: fireworks went off and the whole world lit up for you. With more courage, Enrique grabs your hips and pulls you closer to him, kissing you passionately as you feel the strongest feeling of happiness you have ever felt.
