Chapter 16

Waking up to the sun rays warming your face, you smile at yourself knowing that everything is fine now. Today also marks four months since you and Enrique became a couple.

''Wow, what a beauty'' says Enrique as you come down the stairs, messy hair, a large shirt on.

''Oh shut up'' you blush at his words. ''Good morning'' you say as you lift yourself up on your toes to lock your lips with his.

''I made really good breakfast, I even amazed myself'' he says amused as he shows you the way to a chair in front of the kitchen island.

''This looks delicious, I'm starving'' you answer, mouth watering at the deliciousness on the table. There was toast with peanut butter, banana and cinnamon, fried eggs, pancakes, fruits, coffee and orange juice.

As you lay on a pool float, sunbathing and enjoying every second of the beautiful weather, Enrique breaks the silence as he floats next to you on another float.

''You know we're going out to dinner tonight, right?''

''Yes, I know'' you say as you playfully roll your eyes. ''It's the only thing you've talked about all day''.

''Yeah, yeah, alright. I'm just very excited'' he says, kissing your nose.

''I love you so much'' you tell him truthfully.

''I love you more'' he says.

''No, don't start'' you threaten him, pointing your index finger at him.

Amused, he starts tickling you as you scream-laugh and try to escape it. Finally escaping, you start running, but Enrique is faster and catches you again, arms around your stomach as he plants kisses under your ear.

''Come here, give me a kiss'' he says, turning you around by your shoulders. You lift yourself up on your toes and plant a sweet kiss on his petal lips.

''Is this heaven I'm tasting?'' you say, kissing him one more time.

Deciding to wear a new dress that you bought long time ago but never had the chance to put on, you finish up your hair and make up and head downstairs to meet Enrique. As every time he sees you, his jaw drops and with those brown eyes that you'd die for, he looks at you in awe. The dress hugs your shape perfectly, making you look both sexy and decent at the same time.

''You are so beautiful'' he says, a smile worth the world playing on his lips.

You blush, and giving him a kiss, you head out to the car. Arriving at the restaurant, you realize there is no one inside. Confused, you follow Enrique to a table in the middle of the small, but fancy restaurant and take your seats.

''I need to do something. I will be right back'' says Enrique before you get to ask why no one is there.

Out of nowhere, the lights in the restaurant turn off and only a spotlight appears exactly on you. Looking around for Enrique, you hear music being played and you recognize it immediately; it's ''Heaven'' by Bryan Adams, Enrique's and your song. Suddenly, Enrique's voice sings the words of the song and getting up from your seat, you see Enrique standing behind you, him too having a light shine down on him.

He comes towards you and takes your hand to pull you closer into him, your bodies connecting with each other as he continues to sing into your ear. His voice is always one of the reasons you get shivers down your spine.

''And baby you're all that I need,

When you're lying here in my arms.

I'm finding it hard to believe

We're in heaven''

He sings to you as he looks into your eyes, as you mouth the words to the song. This is close to unbelievable and you ask yourself what you did to deserve such a special man.

''No one has ever done that for me, thank you'' you say happily as head back to the table.

''Then they don't know how special you are'' he says, giving you a peck on the lips and holding the chair for you to sit, dessert waiting for you on the table.

''When we get home, I'm gonna cover you in kisses and you won't be able to escape'' you tell Enrique, who smiles amusedly at you.

''Can't wait'' he replies.
