I wake up to the ruckus that everyone is making because they are packing their things before we get going. Normally, I'm the first one up and I'm the one who's normally waking up all of the pogues, but today I'm exhausted and that's out of the ordinary for me; which makes me think that today's not going to be a good day. JJ walks into the room, he was disappointed to see me awake, but that's only because he was looking forward to carrying me to the car. He does that when I'm sleeping and we need to drive somewhere.

"Morning Princess," He greeted me with a soft smile and a peck on the lips, "You ready for our morning adventure?"

"I guess," I yawned and looked up at him with a smile, "Was I the only one still asleep?"

"Yeah," JJ smiled softly and fixed a piece of my hair behind my ear, "c'mon get dressed, i'll go get you something to eat"

"There's food at the chateau?" I asked with my eyes opened wide because I couldn't believe it

"Yeah, Sarah went out with Kie last night and they stocked up, they were gonna bring you along but you were already out" He said and kissed her forehead before leaving.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and fixed my hair into a messy bun with some of the curls sticking out. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. After, I got ready and walked out of the room, no one was inside. I walked into the kitchen where JJ was making me a pack of instant oatmeal. Which made me twist my face.

He saw my face and chuckled, "I know it's not the world's best breakfast, but it'll fill you up"

"Do I have to eat?" I whined

"Yes, my love and it'll be good for you, it'll wake you up. Brighten you up too"

I looked at JJ and rolled my eyes, "I'm already awake."

"Are you alright?" He looked at me and pretended to take my temperature with the back of his hand, "Cause, it looks like we have a little grump instead of Lizzy today"

"I'm fine, I'm just tired." I looked at him and wrapped my arms around his neck, "Thank you for breakfast." I said softly and kissed his lips

He smiled and handed me the bowl. I walked outside and was instantly hit with the worst metallic scent. It honestly made me lose the rest of my appetite.

"What are y'all doing?" I asked as I began eating the oatmeal because if I didn't JJ would have my head.

"We're just melting down the gold, so it'll be easier to pawn off." Pope said looking up from the pot as Kie kept stirring it around

I walked over to go see it, the smell getting immediately worse, "You really think they're going to take that?" I asked looking at the gold that was in the pot, "It looks fake."

"It would've been worse if we had taken the bars individually, because they would suspect we're hiding something. It's better this way, or at least that's what Pope and John B settled on." Kie shrugged

"Alright, you're the gold experts" I say and look around, "Where's Sarah?"

"Over on the dock." Kie answered simply

I made my way over to the dock with my bowl of oatmeal and sat next to Sarah. She hugged me softly and smiled.

"You're finally awake." Sarah chuckled and looked down at my bowl, "and you're eating oatmeal? Lizzy, you hate oatmeal."

"I know, but JJ made it for me and it doesn't look that bad." I said but Sarah knew that I would rather eat anything other than oatmeal

Sarah looked off onto the marsh, "You ever get the gut feeling that something's going to go wrong?" She asked and then looked at me
