Tori's POV:

I woke up in someplace I didn't recognize, there was a lady sitting in a chair  to my left writing something down on a clipboard. I made to get up but her eyes immediately caught mine and shook her head vigorously  getting up from her chair. "I'm sorry Ms. Morale but you can't get up yet you had quite the fall." The woman said her melodic voice filling my ears, "where am I?" I asked her and she gave me a kind smile "your in the Element Wing of the school the boy who brought you in said you must have passed out because your Element was coming soon." she said. I looked around my surroundings for a second to see the room was all white with the exception of the doctor's table I was on that was teal, there were fire extinguishers, a refrigerator, a freezer, a bathroom, a hazmat suit, hedge clippers and a lot of other odds and ends that I supposed were for certain elements.

Then it hit me, the nurse had said 'the boy who brought you in' but I was sure there wasn't anyone in the hallway, unless Jason took me here? I shivered at the thought of it. "Who exactly brought me here?" my voice had a hint of curiosity to it, "Oh Ethan Sterling." the nurse told me like it was no big deal. "Now I need to do a few tests, we'll see if you got your Element yet before I call your parents to send you home." she continued. Ethan Sterling had brought me to the nurse's office, why in the world? I thought to myself a small shiver running down my spine as my brain came up with fantasies as to why none of which I agreed with. I shook my head trying to compose myself, "so what are the tests?" I asked the nurse trying to plaster a smile on myself as I tried to get up and a bolt of energy struck through me almost as if I had been hit by lightning. "Oh don't move!" the nurse said shooting up from where she was sitting to set me down, with a small chuckle "When your getting your Element it's best to rest."

I nodded though my body still felt like it was on fire, then it felt as though I was as cold as ice and I pulled the blanket closer to my body. My hair felt as though it was tinged with lightning and my mouth felt dry and my tongue felt like a rock. The nurse was staring at me now I could tell "What?" I asked as her mouth fell open, but she quickly shook her head and averted her gaze "I'll go ahead and call your parents then." she said with a sweet smile. Fake. I couldn't help myself from thinking it but how did I know what was fake or real? Maybe this what happened when you get your Element? "Oh my mom's at work she won't answer I'll give you my sister's number." I said finally realizing she was looking at the phone book with a frown on her face. "Okay thank you dear." she said although this time she didn't meet my eyes. I turned to the mirror and let out a muffled gasp, my eyes were slowly fading from each different elemental color from orange when my hands felt hot to dark blue when I felt my skin on my hands get wetter. What in the world?! The next thing I knew I had blacked out again.

The only thing I remembered was Marilyn's muffled voice as she lifted me into her car and I knew she immediately went into over-protective-big-sister mode. The nurse was telling her something I couldn't hear and she just nodded feeling my forehead and then looking at my face with a frown, shaking her head sometimes and nodding at others. Once we got into the house she laid me on the couch and ran to the kitchen, I woke up then tears filling my eyes as I tried to think what was going on, Was this how every Element was obtained? I thought. "Oh my god thank goodness your awake Tori I was about to cry... what the hell happened?!" Marilyn shouted running to my side. I looked at her with a shrug "I think I'm getting my Element." I just said my voice sounded muffled as I talked. "I know what getting your Element is and that is so not it." she said her eyes serious.

"What do you mean?" I asked worry filling my tone, "I mean my eyes didn't change like that they were simply light green." she said her tone matching mine. "I'll call mom she'll know what to do stay there!" she shrieked as if I was going to go somewhere, "Marilyn Morale I can't move what makes you think I'd go anywhere." I said with annoyance. My phone buzzed and hurried to answer it, I felt my hands slightly glow a light blue color and my phone floated towards me. Was I a Breeze? I didn't know for sure. I picked up the phone and looking at the caller ID seeing it was Abigail I picked it up. She sounded frantic as I put it to my ear "What the hell happened, Tori?! I was freaking out! I didn't see you after school and you weren't answering any of my calls and I-" "Abigail Lucy Chang! I'm fine I think I'm getting my Element I didn't know I passed out for that long-" I interrupted her rambling "Really?!" she asked excitement evident in her tone, "Are you a Flora, like Marilyn or your mom?" I shook my head "No I don't know actually it's kind of complicated-" "Why what's wrong are you a Normal?!" she asked still with her earlier excitement, "Ty! She's getting her Element!" I heard Abigail shriek and another muffled voice.
