It's already 4:30 in the morning and as usual I was doing my morning routine, getting back to shape again. Tomorrow will be the 10th Anniversary of Valera Fantasy Ballet Company, after school I will be heading at the Company because we need to perform at the Valera ballet theater tomorrow.
"Hyacinth!" I rolled my eyes when I heard my mother's voice again, she's so Excited about the Event tomorrow. I know that Mom and Dad had plans tomorrow, I was trying to ask if what is it but they said it's a secret, how lame.
"I'm coming Mom!" I shouted back, I heard her giggles. I was getting ready to go to school, kinuha ko na Lahat ng things ko and I'm ready to go na. Pagka-baba ko palang ay Nakita ko na Agad sila Mommy at Daddy sa Living room they're talking about something.
I smiled at them sweetly as I kiss my dad and Mom's Cheeks, I also greeted them a 'good morning'. Umalis na din kaagad ako dahil baka ma-late pa ako sa class ko.
As I was walking at the lobby when suddenly Abby called my name, she's my one and only friend here. "Faster Abby" I said, she chuckle and wrap her hands on my waist. Naglakad kami papuntang classroom dahil kailangan Kong um-attend ng class before I go to theater later.
After our first period was done ay lumabas na agad ako at dumiretso sa school studio upang mag practice ng basic routines ng ballet, 3 years na akong lead ballerina dito. Nagpunta mu 'na ako sa locker ko upang kuhanin 'yong pointe shoes ko, "Faye hinahanap kana ni Ms. Jimenez" sigaw ng isa kong classmate, tumango ako at ngumiti. Ms Jimenez was our coordinator.
Bitbit ko ang pointe shoes ko at naka-paa lang akong umakyat papunta sa school studio, "Ms. Valera your late" sabi ni Ms. Jimenez, humingi ako ng sorry bago kinuha ang matt ko bago umupo at sinuot ko na din 'yong ballet shoes ko, as usual we are going to perform swan lake again but we need to change the story. I was doing some basic steps when someone called my name. It was the varsity players of the school, "Ms. Valera crush ka daw ni Lucas oh!" Sigaw nila at tinuro ang katabi, his cute but his not my type.
Seriously? Paano sila nakapasok dito? Hindi ko na sila Pinansin at nag focus sa steps, I need to master my turns and get my shape back. After an hour of practice nagpunta na ako ng canteen, Athena wave at me and she tap her side gesturing that I'll seat beside her. "How's the practice?" She ask, I sigh before putting all my things to the chair beside me. "It's fine" I said.
"I don't have any dress Faye what I am going to wear tomorrow night?" She ask while eating her pasta, I looked at her and said "You don't have to worry Abby, i have so many dresses at home you can choose whatever you want" she smiled and pinch my cheeks. "Your the best" tuwang-tuwang sabi niya, I fake a smile before I continue eating my vegetable salad.
When we were done eating ay nagpunta kami sa soccer field, sabi kasi ni Abby ay gusto niyang makita 'yong crush niyang soccer player. I like soccer player too but wala akong type sa mga players dito sa University, there's so many cuties na basketball player here pero they said babaero daw sila kaya pass.
"Ang gwapo niya talaga" bulong ni abby habang pinapanood 'yong lalake na naglalaro sa gitna ng field, yeah he's cute naman but his not my type though. Tumitili na sa kilig si abby sa tabi ko dahil nginitian daw siya ng crush niya, we are laughing so hard and we didn't notice the soccer ball was going toward us. I was shocked when the ball hit Abby's head, she fell on the bleachers.
"Abby, oh my gosh are you okay?" I was so nervous because she can't speak na, "Nahihilo ako" she said, I don't know if I'm going to laugh or put her to the clinic because she's so fucking funny. Some of the soccer players help me put Abby on the clinic because I can't Carry her she's so heavy.
Umalis ako ng clinic dahil kailangan kong um-attend ng last period, may nurse naman doon upang bantayan si Abby. Lakad takbo ang ginawa ko dahil baka late na ako sa class ko, pumunta pa kasi ako ng Locker ko upang kunin 'yong book ko sa physics. After our long Quiz Sir. Daquel gave us another activity kaya 5pm na n'ong umuwi kami, I need to go to clinic again para tignan si abby kung naka uwi na ba siya.
"Ano bang pinagawa ng kalbo na iyon sa inyo, sobrang tagal ng dismissal niyo a" reklamo niya, she said nahihilo pa daw siya kaya sobrang tagal namin bumaba sa hagdan. "We had a long quiz kanina, and he gave an additional activity" I said, umiling siya at huminto na naman, she's still dizzy.
I called my driver to pick me up, sasabay na din sa akin si Abby dahil wala ng jeep na dumadaan sa harap ng university, sa kabilang bus station pa kasi siya pupunta kapag ganon, malayo pa naman iyon sa University. Malapit lang naman 'yong bahay nila sa bahay namin. Sa labas lang ng subdivision namin ang bahay nila sa Kabilang kanto.
"Thank you talaga, faye" kanina pa siya nag sasabi ng thank you, tumango ako at ngumiti. Pinagbuksan siya ni mang pitong ng pinto ng kotse, I wave at her. Umalis din kaagad kami doon dahil tumatawag sa si Mommy sa akin, she said dumating na daw 'yong gown na susuotin for tomorrow's event.
Sinalubong ako ni Nanay Elen at kinuha 'yong mga bitbit kong libro, "Nagugutom kana ba huh? Nagluto ang Mommy mo ng paborito mong ulam" she said, ngumiti ako at tumango. Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko to take a shower. After I do all my night routines ay bumaba na ako sa dining area to eat dinner, mom and dad is already there waiting for me "Your gown is already at your room darling, did you see it?" My mother ask, I just nodded and started to eat my dinner.
Maaga akong nagising kinabukasan dahil papasok mu 'na ako sa school, 7pm pa naman magsisimula 'yong event kaya ayos lang. I tried to find abby but the teacher's said she's absent kaya mag-isa lang akong nagtungo sa classroom, I was walking at the hallway when suddenly I bumped into a tall guy. "Sorry I didn't saw you" I said, I stared at his Ash grey eyes. He didn't say a word and he just look at me with his cold and blank expression. My heart started beating so fast and I couldn't even breathe.
"Are you just gonna stare at me and block my way?" He said in his cold voice, Nasamid ako sa sarili kong laway dahil sa sinabi niya, "I'm n-not staring at you, it's j-just—"
"Excuses" he said in his baritone voice
"Chester sandali" one of the varsity players called his name.
