CHAPTER 02

so nakakainis, how could he say that to me? Kumukulo ang blood ko sa kaniya I don't know why, he is so feelingero huh.

Nagpatuloy na lang ako sa paglalakad, kanina pa tumatawag si mommy sa akin pero hindi ko sinasagot. "Bitch what the hell? kanina pa kita hinahanap" I rolled my eyes.

"Kakain ako, with my friends" I joke, tinawanan lang ako at lumapit sa akin. "As if you have friends, Wala naman nagtatagal sa ugali mo except me bitch" she said and grab my hands.

"That's why I love you girl" I said as I pinch her cheeks. "I know bitch" she said. Abby and I are best friends since we were kids. "Abby I'll see you later I need to go" I said, she smiled and wave.

Nag text ako kay mommy na on the way na ako sa company, we need to practice. Busy kasi sila mommy dahil sa gaganapin na event mamayang 7pm kaya siguro hindi na siya nakapag update.

All the employees greeted me when I enter the company, dumiretso ako sa studio and ako na lang ang hinihintay nila. All the ballerinas looking at me and I just rolled my eyes on them. Tinaas ko ang isang kilay ko nang makita si Vianna na nakatingin sa akin. She's my cousin at nakakainis siya, she wants to take my place as a lead ballerina since then.

Nilabas ko na yung sanitizer ko dahil baka may ibang humawak nang locker kadiri naman. I place my matt on the center I need to warm up first bago mag simula, rinig ko pa ang bulongan nila sa likod pero I didn't mind them.

"Straighten your back!" Sigaw nang artistic Director, "Too fast, you're 16th note faster!" Sigaw ulit niya, napatigil ako sa pagsasayaw at tinignan ang mga Kasama. "How many times do I have to tell you, if you die, get sad, and fall in love before the music it's rushed and kills the expectations!"  Sigaw niya ulit, "Corps de ballet, your backs aren't straight you need to tensed up! Dancers expresses their emotions with their backs, isn't this basic?!"

"One dancer with loose muscle is enough to ruin the whole atmosphere of the performance!" He sighed "Do you not know that?!" Napahilot ako sa aking sentido.

"Aren't you tried of doing the same performance for three years?" I ask, they all look at me. The artistic Director nodded, pinampagan ko ang sarili. "This program is stuck in a rut, seriously paulit ulit natin itong ginagawa because you only perform these predictable shows for the sake of your popularity can you call yourself the best ballet company?"

"Ikaw Vianna? How can you call yourself as the best lead ballerina if you're 16th note faster as the Artistic Director said?" I ask her, kita sa mukha niya Ang inis dahil sa sinabi ko.

"I'll do my best on stage" she said, I laughed sarcastically " If that's your best, you're in trouble" I whispered and play with my nails, I heard her groan, naiinis na. "You need to practice more, Vianna" tatalikod na sana ako ngunit kinuha niya yung pulsohan ko. "Even if you split the Music into 32nd notes, instead of 16th notes, I'm confident that I still on the beat" she said and position her self on the center.

"Tama na yan, let's start from the top" pareho kaming napahinto ni Vianna dahil sa sigaw na iyon, Wala na ako sa mood matapos ang rehearsal dahil sa nangyari, inayos ko na yung mga gamit ko at dumiretso ng umuwi sa bahay.

I need to get ready para sa event mamaya, sinundo ko si Abby sa bahay nila at sabay na kaming nag punta ng Hotel kung saan gaganapin yung 10th anniversary ng Valera Fantasy ballet company, "Wow girl totoo gamit mo 'to Lahat?" Tanong niya ng makita ang mga gamit ko na nakalapag sa kama, tumango ako at dumiretso sa bathroom upang maligo.

Ibat ibang shoes, gowns, necklace, bracelet, earrings and sobrang daming branded na makeup ang nandoon. Matapos akong maligo at si Abby ay agad kaming nag ayos, light makeup lang ang ginawa ko kay Abby at ganon din sa akin.

I wear my ballet gown and wear my ballet pointe shoes. Pagkatapos namin magbihis ni Abby ay bumaba na kami. Kinausap agad ako nila mommy at daddy, ipinakilala nila ako sa mga investors ng company.

"Doña Amelia, this is my daughter Hyacinth" sabi pa ni Mommy ngumiti ako at nakipag handshake sa ginang.

"Mrs. Salvador this is my daughter, Hyacinth" Sabi ni mommy sa isa na naman na ginang. "Hello hija, totoo nga ang sabi ng mommy mo you're so beautiful" sabi niya, sobrang lawak ng ngiti ko dahil sa narinig, maganda naman talaga ako. "Thank you Mrs. Salvador" halos mapunit na ang ngiti ko, "You're too formal darling, Tita would do" she said, tumango ako at umalis na din dahil magsisimula na yung show.

I felt nervous when I was in the backstage, I was dancing ballet for almost 7 years pero bakit ngayon lang ako kinakabahan ng ganito, hindi ako mapakali. "Let's all watch the performance of the Valera Fantasy ballet dancers, they're going to perform swan lake" as the music and start and the crowd started to cheer lumabas na kami sa backstage.

While performing I can't focus parang may nakatitig sa 'kin, it's familiar though. Iwinaksi ko iyon sa isip ko at muling nag focus sa pagsasayaw.

"Girl ang galing mo" iyon agad ang sinabi sa akin ni Abby nang makababa ako sa stage, I hugged her tight after that. "Congratulations hija, sobrang galing mo" Mrs. Salvador speak out of nowhere, "Thank you, Tita" Sabi ko at ngumiti.

"By the way this is my son Chester, anak this is Hyacinth" I stared at the man who's standing beside Tita, my heart start beating so fast as he look at me in the eyes with his ash grey eyes. Sandali akong nawala sa sarili dahil doon.

"Hey are you okay?" Siniko ako ni Abby sa tagiliran, at dahil doon bumalik ako sa tamang wisyo, "Hi nice meeting you" he said, I smiled sarcastically, he's the guy na masungit sa school "Tita I'll go a head, magbihis po kasi ako" Sabi ko kay tita at iniwan na sila doon.

"Tulo laway ka kanina" kanina pa ako inaasar ni Abby, "Shut up will you" naiirita na ako. Tumawa lang siya at sinundan ako, I wear my most elegant cocktail dress as I retouch my makeup and hinayaan ko lang na nakalugay ang buhok ko.

"Sobrang ganda mo talaga" sabi ni Abby, "You too" she's not tired giving me compliment and I like it. Bumalik na kami sa venue at humanap ng table, alam kong may after party ito at pupunta kami ni Abby, sobrang daming bisita ngunit bakit ko na naman nakita yung nakakainis na lalaking iyon.

Malapit sila chester sa table namin at pansin kong nakatingin siya sa akin, tinaasan ko siya ng kilay at inirapan, I hate him. "Crush mo?" Biglang tanong ni Abby kaya napalo ko ang braso niya "Aray, nagtatanong lang e" she said, "I'm sorry" sabi ko.

"Wait me here, sa washroom lang ako" paalam ko kay Abby tumango siya at busy na kumakain, naglalakad ako sa gitna ng maraming tao ng biglang may humigit sa akin dahil upang mapatili ako "Shut up" sabi ng isang lalaki. "What the hell, I need to pee." Sabi ko, naiihi na ako kanina pa.

"We need to talk" he said in his cold baritone voice, "Wait lang, need ko na talaga mag pee" reklamo ko, kita ko sa mukha niya ang inis at binitawan ako.  "Faster" he said at humalukipkip sa wall malapit sa washroom, "Shit" I whispered a cursed, napatingin siya sa akin at tinaasan ng kilay, bakla.

"Can you open the door for me?" I ask, ngumisi siya at umayos ng tayo, "What?" He ask confused, "Chester please? Look I don't have my sanitizer with me" naiwan ko iyon sa hotel room kanina, umirap siya bago buksan ang pinto.

"So anong paguusapan natin?" Tanong ko, hinila niya ako hanggang sa makarating kami sa parking lot, "Seriously? Don't know you anything?" Tanong niya, I shrugged and look at him innocently, bumuntong hininga siya at tumititig sa akin.

"Don't sign the contract" he said seriously, what? I don't understand, "Unless you want to be my fiancee?" He ask, habang nakangisi.

"What?" I ask.
