I wake up to see Dan still asleep. I check my phone to see the time. I also see a text from Tony saying "That was for making mom upset" I roll my eyes at the text. 9;30 Okay, good. I get up and see Dan's phone next to him on the couch. I grab it and plug it in on the charger he left here a couple months ago. I go into my room and plug my phone in as well. I then go back out and into the kitchen and start to make breakfast for him and I. I grab the eggs out of the fridge, and a package of bacon. I grab a cast iron pan, and a pan, and put them on my stove. I turn on an electric kettle I bought for myself last week, and wait for it to boil. I then crack open the eggs, and put them into a bowl. and scramble them. I put salt and pepper into them, and add a little milk for fluffiness. I put the bacon on the cast iron pan and put the eggs into the other pan. After the bacon starts to sizzle Dan starts to wake up. He had moved over to his right side on the couch.
"Good morning!" I say "Morning.." He says very weakly. He sits up and raises his arms up to stretch.
"Watcha making?" he asks groggily he rubs his eyes, and yawns.
"Just a simple egg and bacon. Want some tea?" I ask "Sure." he responds he stands up and stretches.
"Do you need any help?" he asks, walking over to the counter. "Nope! I'm good." I say "Okay, I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick." He says before walking to the guest bathroom down the hall. I finish cooking the bacon to mine and his liking, and grab some plates, and plate them. Dan comes back out of the bathroom. He had brushed his hair. I pour water out of the kettle into some mugs and put a couple of green tea bags in them. Once Dan comes back out of the bathroom I set the plates down on the table, and grab the mugs. Dan goes over to the couch and looks for his phone.
"Hey uh, where's my phone?" he asks "On the counter. I plugged it in for you .Anyways, breakfast is done." I say "Oh sweet thank you!" he says going over to the counter and checking his phone. He sets it down and walks over to the table and we start to eat.
"So what's the plan for you today?" he asks, taking a bit of the eggs. "Oh I gotta finish packing my grandpa's stuff. What about you?" I ask to take a sip of my drink.
"By the way, amazing job on the eggs., and nothing today since I streamed yesterday." he says "Thank you! and why don't you help me with my grandpa. I mean he likes you so I don't think he will mind." I say taking a bite of my bacon.
"Sure! I love your grandpa, he's really nice!" Dan says "He is really, and cool! so around noon we'll leave. " I say we finished eating breakfast. I look at the unfinished lego set on the table. "Wanna finish it?" I ask "Oh right! I completely forgot about that! Of course I do!" he answers as he stands up and takes my plate. "Oh no I've got-" "No. Let me clean this up. You made it I will put these in the sink." Dan interrupts me. "But-" "Nope!" he says, going over to the sink and putting the plates in the sink. I gather the instructions and look at them. HE comes back and pulls up a chair next to me, and looks over my shoulder and looks at them as well.
We finish the lego set at 11;30.
"We probably should shower. before going to my granddad's." I say looking at him. He looks back at me and smiles "Yeah definitely. you're kinda stinky" he jokes I smack him and flip him off "Are my clothes in the usual place?" he asks laughing "After what you just said. It's going to be in the trash." I say getting up, he follows suit. I go into my room, and he walks over to my closet and grabs a little tote I have for his clothes and picks out a dark blue t-shirt and jeans. I go over to my dresser and grab a yellow tank crop top, and white shorts, before going into my bathroom.
After I get out of the shower. I dry my hair, and put my clothes on. I look in the mirror and see my reflection. Damn I look hot. I haven't felt this confident in years. I put on some light concealer and lip gloss. I walk out of my bathroom, grab some white socks and put them on before going out into the living room to see Dan on the couch scrolling on his phone.
