"Have a nice day- night!" I called as he left the store, now shaking myself out of whatever stupor had overcome my worn out consciousness. That was super embarrassing.

I looked back at my phone checking the time then texting Minji.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked out from behind the counter grabbing a broom. I made my way around the store sweeping and putting anything away that was left in the wrong spot by customers. Humming and talking to myself as I went.

A familiar song came on and I danced along to it going back to grab the mop and do the whole floor. Still dancing and occasionally singing along my mind drifted back to the man from earlier...Seung-cheol, my thoughts immediately changed from his smile you could see through his eyes to the embarrassment I felt when I was caught staring multiple times.

"AHHH stupid! stupid! Aishhh!" I lightly hit my forehead off the mop handle and slid down into a squat.

"Park Su-jin you will pull yourself together!" I said to myself sternly then stood up returning the mop and putting out the wet floor sign.

Carefully I made my way to the aisle with Minji's favorite chips then grabbed a case of soju and aspirin. I went back rung myself up and paid. After paying I bagged my stuff up and counted the money in the register.

Thankfully no more customers had come in. After adding up all the money in the register and transferring it to the safe in the office I turned off the open sign and took off my vest. Finally I grabbed my stuff and turned off the store lights carefully leaving and locking the door behind me.

As I went to turn to walk towards the bus stop my bus passed by...great.
"Ok so that's awesome!" I huffed out.
I wasn't stranded but the next bus wouldn't be coming for another 30 minutes. I quickly got out my phone and informed my impatient roommate. I trudged to the bus stop and silently thanked God or city council or whoever it was that this area was well lit even late at night.
