"I'm curious…how come you know a lot of things about cooking?" Aria asked while the smell of stirred fried rice was roaming around the room.

I was teaching her how to cook, or better yet, make a meal with great flavor in it. It's been a week and my mouth wanted to taste something flavorful. The food she cooked always lacks flavor for me.

"Well…because I am good at cooking." I'm a chef too despite my complicated work.

"Wow, ah? Nganga, gutom lang 'yan." I scoffed at her statement before opening my mouth to welcome a spoonful of the stirred fried rice.

"Finally. Now this is food," I said in an exaggerated way after chewing it. Recently, we've been teasing each other. Which felt weird at first but now, I feel a little comfortable with it.

Though… I've also been anxious. I know I need to go back to the org. But I don't know how.

"Nakakainsulto naman. Paalala lang, ah? Ang mahal kaya ng mga pinabili mong ingredients! Ni hindi ko nga alam kung bakit ako nagpauto sa 'yo. Nakagastos tuloy ako…" panunumbat niya. Mahal? Seriously?

I snorted, "Just for a few spices? Mahal agad?"

"Pasensya na, ah? Everyone's not as rich as you," she sarcastically said. And before I even knew it, she already gave me a spoonful of fried rice reason for me to choke a bit.

"Sigurado ka na bang kaya mo na?" she asked while carefully helping me to go to the bathroom. For the first time since I've been here, I can finally take a shower.

I can't stand the heat here.

I stated before I held the door of the bathroom shut. But I opened it again because I didn't know where the shower is.

"Where's the shower?" I asked. I heard how she scoffed at me.

"Walang shower…tabo. 'Yon ang gamitin mo," sambit niya na ikinataka ko. What's tabo?

"Huh?" I responded.

She released a heavy sigh. "If it's okay…p-puwede naman kitang tulungan–"

"No way," I stopped her. I can't just let her give me a bath. It's…weird.

"Fine. Bahala ka." I felt her soft hands gently pulling me towards another direction. I bowed as she lowered it. I immediately felt the cold water touching my fingers.

"Iyan. 'Yan ang balde. Paandarin ko na ang gripo para malaman mo kung nasaan. At heto," she paused and handed me with something. I also heard the faucet running. "Ang hawak mo naman ay tabo, 'yan ang gagamitin mo pangbuhos ng tubig. Walang shower dito."

I just nodded. I don't care anymore. I just wanted to take a bath. I feel so dirty.

"Sige…lalabas na ako. Kung may kailangan ka, tawagan mo ako," paalala niya pa bago tuluyang lumabas.

As soon as I heard her close the door, I immediately let go of the "tabo" that she gave me and took of my clothes. I bowed a bit to reach the pail full of water.

I grabbed the tabo, which I think is called dipper in english and poured water all over my body. I immediately felt refreshed.

"Well…being in the tub or shower is much better," I muttered before pouring water on my face. How can people here live like this?

"Mierda… She didn't tell me where the soap is," l whispered before heading to the door when I suddenly slipped!

Because the bathroom wasn't that big, I bumped into some things which caused a loud ruckus.
