It's about 6pm on Friday, aka one day away from the party and I still have no idea what to wear! I want to impress Chris but I also don't want to wear something too much. Scarlet said her and I can go look for dresses when she gets off work.
I'm currently getting ready to go since she said she's on her way. Knowing her she's gonna touch up her makeup once she gets here so I'm not to worried about being ready immediately.
About 10 minutes later*
Scarlet walks in saying "Hey Cora, how was your day at the office?"
"it was good, pretty easy. I'm ahead of all my work so I kinda just helped around in any places." I answered.
'So... what you normally do?"
"Haha basically."
"Care if I use this?" She asks holding up one of my mascaras.
"Do I ever?"
She smiles and puts it on quicker as I grab my purse. We head out the door and go to Scarlets car.
About 20-30 minutes later we get to scarlets favorite dress place. I was blown away. These dresses were breathtaking. Even the super simple ones.
"Wow. acestea sunt uimitoare. (wow. these are amazing)" I say under my breathe.
"I know right. I almost always come here for dresses. I have a designer that does my red carpet dresses here. But for parties like this, i just shop off the rack." Scarlet tells me in a thrilled voice.
"I don't even know where to start." I say still in shock.
"Well first, let's get you measured for dress size that will make your body look good. I do ur every time I come in just to be safe." She says dragging me over to a worker. "Hey Taylor, so this is my friend Cora and she needs to be measured for a dress please."
"Of course!" He said nicely, as he started measuring he asked "So what do you two need dresses for? I'd love to help pick out some ideas for you lovely ladies."
I didn't want to say anything but he definitely sounds and looks gay. And he looks amazing. Not attractive (to me) but well kept together and looks amazing in his outfit.
"I'm throwing a little party at my house to have a good night with friends. plus Cora has a crush on Chris Evans and since we're working together in the new movie, I invited him. Basically i'm gonna make an amazing couple with these two." Scarlet answered excitedly.
"Scarlet, Chris Evans would not date me. Like it's a dream but not even close to realistic."
"First of all, if I was Chris Evans I would totally date you. Second, who doesn't have a crush on him.", Taylor giggled "also Cora, do you have any ideas for your dress? like a color, fit type, cut, anything?"
"Umm honestly I haven't thought about it. I don't wear dresses that often and you seem to know a lot more then me so if you picked out a few options it would be so much easier" I said taking in a deep breathe.
"Scarlet, any ideas for your dress or Coras?", Taylor asked.
"Hmm I think a short-ish, skintight but not super tight dress for Cora and for me a short dress but instead of skintight I want a flow-y dress."
"OMG! I love those ideassss. Now because of your hair Cora I think a purple or green would look best. Or maybe even a baby blue. And Scarlet, I'm thinking a light red.", Taylor exclaims.
"Love. Love. Love!" Scarlet says in reply. "Cora what do you think?"
"I like all those colors but the baby blue is probably my favorite." I answer.
