How it all started.. (OC x Chris Evans)

Pt.1 Starting Of It All

While having a big part in my company's work I do a lot of design and I really needed my friends advice on what looked better for my interview with clients coming up. So after getting ready I decided to drive over to their set knowing that they couldn't really use their phones much. Plus then I had an excuse to see them.

Once I got their I walked through the doors and got stopped by security. They said since I didn't have anything proving I know either Sebastian or Scarlet I couldn't go in. I tried everything to prove to them I did know them but nothing worked. And clearly I must've caught some peoples attention because while looking down at my phone I noticed a man with a script and a coffee walking this way. Honestly I didn't care because I was trying to call one of them while getting out my iPad to show my designs. By the time I had my iPad out with my design up I looked up with the last person I excepted to see. Chris freaking Evans. As soon as I laid eyes on him he was looking at me. We were making strong eye contact and I swear I could feel something between us.

"Who's the beautiful lady your not letting in?" He said soft but firmly not breaking eye contact.

"We don't know sir, she claims she knows Stan and Johansson.'' The security man said.

"You know them? *I nod my head* Whats your name?" He asks.

"C-Coraline Erner" I say so nervous I thought my head would explode.

"Your Coraline?! They weren't kidding with the looks, your very pretty." He says to me then looks back at security and continues by saying "She knows them. She's their best friend. Allow me to take her to them."

"O-ok sir if your sure."

"Oh I am." He says once more making eye contact.

The security guards let me through and I start walking with Chris. I can tell he's staring at me but I try to distract myself by looking at my iPad and pretending to do something important on it.

"So Coraline, what are you doing here?" He asks putting his arm around my waist when he realizes that others are staring at me.

I can't tell if he did it to make me feel safe or to show me off.. Honestly I'm still in shock.

"You can call me Cora.. and I'm here because I needed their opinion on a design prototype for work."

"Alright Cora, so tell me what's your job? Because you could seriously be a model I mean you look perfect."

"I- um.. thanks but I'm a programmer analysis. Top rank. I also help with anything else that isn't working or needs it since I can really understand anything about computers and technology. I mean it's quite simple if you understand the basics for coding and whatnot."

"Cool cool. So Cor-"

While he was talking I saw Seb and Scarlet talking and with my anxiety going off so badly from Chris I was eager to run away from him. So as soon as I saw them I bolted to them and they saw me.

"Cora!!" They both said as i ran into them to hug them. We don't see each other much.

"I miss you guys so much!"

"And we missed you but more importantly you were walking with Chris?! So tell us what happened!" Scarlet said excited but quietly.

As im in the middle of telling them they both signal me to shut up because Chris had caught up to us.

As we're all talking Scarlet and Seb are both staring at us and smiling.

Then Scarlet proceeds to say "You know I'm thinking about having some friends over on Saturday so if you guys are free, all three of you are welcome to join. It's just gonna be a casual party." Knowing that if Chris agrees that I'll be hanging out with him.

I'm a loner when it comes to groups unless it's my friend group. And with Scarlets parties I most likely not go talk to people I don't know unless I like them.

"I don't have any plans so I'm in!" Seb said.

"Yeah that sounds great! A day off work and hanging out with friends, I mean why not!" Chris says then turns to me, "do you have any plans Cora?"

I think for a second and look at the others, after I minute I say "no, no plans."

"Great so you'll be there?" Chris asks with a soft smile.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be going to my best friends party haha."

A man in the back shouted "Evans come here for a second."

"I guess I'll be going. It was nice meeting you and I can't wait to see you at the party Cora." Then he walks away. As soon as he turned around I smiled so big and the excitement took the air out of my lungs.

Seb hits my back and says "breathe Cora breathe." And scarlet just starts laughing.

"haha la naiba (haha fuck you guys)" I say in Romanian.

"oh Cora, știi că ne iubești (oh Cora you know you love us)" scarlet says.

In college me and seb helped her learn Romanian since me and him were fluent.

"Anyways. Can I show you want I came here to show you?" I say turning my iPad back on.

"Yea yea." Seb says.

"Ok so for our new program we needed a design and I came up with a few so pick one to start and I'll tell you why I made it..." they continue listening as I keep on talking.

About 20-30 minutes go by and they ended up choosing my 3rd design.

So then I hug from goodbye and as we're hugging I say "if you tell or do anything to Chris I will never speak to you again. I'm not kidding."

"Mhm Right. Well i don't know if it's just me but it seemed like he was flirting with you. *i open my mouth to say something* and before you say he's like that with every girl. He's not. *and then I closed my mouth.* love you C and I can't wait to see you on Saturday. Make sure to get there before others!" Scarlet says.

Now I have two days to figure out what I want to wear to a party with Chris freaking Evans! And most likely other celebrities, actors, etc...
