3 years old:

D/N was a very bright child with a love of everything.

Ever since Willy could remember, his little starshine was always willing to try new things.

Whether it be tasting his new candies, or going down fudge mountain, the little girl was up for the challenge. However, there was something new that the candy maker wanted his daughter to try.

Swimming.

A few weeks before, Willy had installed a room with a pool in the factory. However, this wasn't just any ordinary pool. In the world of Willy Wonka, such things did not exist. Instead, rather than it being pool water, there was pink lemonade inside the structure. .

Willy couldn't wait to try it out with his little candy girl, and what better way than to teach her how to swim. After all, the chocolatier realized that having a child came with milestones such as this. The child had already learned how to walk and talk. Swimming seemed like the next important step. At least to Wonka, anyway.

Before the candy maker knew it, he was on his way to the lemonade pool with D/N.

The child had seen this room before from the outside but had never gone in. That is, until today.

With a bounce in her step, the little girl had managed to beat her father to the room and open the dor.

As soon as they had steped inside, Willy spoke up.

"Alright Starshine, Let's go into the changeing room and then we'll get into the pool. How does that sound my little coco bean?"

Upon hearing her father's words, the candy girl frose in her tracks.

On one hand, she was excited, but on another, she was petrified

Looking up to her father, her voice broke as fear took over.

"I'm scared daddy. I don't wanna dwown. Please don't make me go in."

Willy's heart just about shattered at D/N's words. With a gental hand on her back, he eased her fears, if only for a little while.

"Oh starshine, Don't worry sweetheart. I promise that you're safe with me. You always have been and you always will be. I'm not going to let go Starshine. I'll hold onto you the whole time. Will you at least try for me darling? Please?"

The child had a moment to think it over before she nodded slowly.

With that, Willy grabbed her hand and lead her to the changeing room.

Ten minutes later, the father and daughter duo found themselves near the pool steps.

Willy had on dark purple swimming trunks while his little candy girl had on a sparkly purple swim sute with little water wings to match.

As the two of them went down the steps, D/N grabbed onto her father's hand tight.

Hoping he made a smart decision Willy lifted the child into his arms, and went all the way in.

Upon this realization the candy girl began to thrash around, but her father's soothing voice calmed her.

"Sshhhhhhh Starshine, It's ok. It's ok coco bean. See? I've got you baby. daddy has you."

With her father's soothing voice, the little candy girl soon calmed and began to move her legs a little.

"That's it starshine, Keep kicking your legs. Can you move your arms for me?"

With Willy's Encouragement, D/N managed to move her arms. All the while, Willy was still holding and helping her if needed.

Before long, their lesson had ended for the day.

When the father and daughter got out of the pool, Willy picked his candy girl up and gave her lots of kisses.

"I'm so proud of you Starshine! I knew you could do it. And you know what? If we do this every day, you won't need to hold on to me as much. Why pretty soon, you'll be swimming like a pro."

With those words, D/N and Willy left the pool, ready to renew the lessons the next day. After all practice makes perfect., , , . , ,
