Recap:
Her words "You should go home and sleep" keeps playing in my head. I chuckle to myself.
I'm already losing sleep because you're always on my mind
Present (The Next Afternoon):
Mike's POV:
"So Lucas, do you know where Y/N lives so then we can spy on her?" I asked Lucas
"No. I've never been to her house," Lucas sighs, I then slapped my forehead, and I then see Max at her locker
We walked towards Max in the hallways. She was looking through her locker and we stopped by her. She looked confused and looked like she was ready to kill us.
"What do you want?" Max asks as she shuts her locker closed and exits the school with us following her from behind, she then placed the skateboard onto the floor
"Wait!" I tell her, she turns around and rolled her eyes, she then gives me a look to tell me to tell her what I want "Do you know where Y/N lives?"
"Why do you want to know?" she scowls
"Because we want to ask her some questions," I tell her
"Well I don't know where she lives, the only person who knows where she lives is probably my step-brother, Billy," she tells us
"Billy? You mean the dude who almost ran us over?" Lucas exclaims
"Yeah...Why don't you just ask her yourself?" Max says, Lucas then pulled Max to the side and started to talk to her, whispering. Max and Lucas then come back
"Fine. I'll ask her if you guys can hang out with us on Friday," she sighs, she then get's on the skateboard and skates towards the high school, she then turns back to us "Well? What are you waiting for?"
The group and I exchanged glances and biked to her. We then got to the High School and saw Y/N about to get onto her motorcycle.
"Y/N!" Max calls, Y/N then turned around and walked toward us
"What's up kiddos?" she smiles and asks
"Um...I-I was j-just wondering if Lucas, Mike, Dustin, and Will can join us on Friday?" Max asks
"Um? Sure? But you guys..." she said looking at us"Have to ask your parents first, if you're coming, my home is past Cherry lane and you'll see a lane in a forest, just keep going in there and you'll find it,"
"Got it," we all chimed
"Aight, well I'm going to head out. See you around I guess," she then drove away and out of sight, once she left I looked at the group
"So here's the plan, on Friday, we'll try our best to make her use her power so we can prove the point that she is related to El and that she can help us," I stated
"But how are we supposed to know whether or not she has the same power as El?" Dustin asks
"Let's think about it El had telekinesis powers," I stated "So we'll just knock of bunch stuff down and pretend that we're in trouble, then she has to use her power to save us," I explained, I then hear Max chuckling under her breath "What?"
"Good luck with that. Even if she has powers, she's not stupid," she tells me and skates away
Friday:
Mike's POV:
"Mom!" I said walking down the stairs
"What!" she yells from the kitchen
"I'm going out!" I said getting my stuff
"To who's?" she asks peering through the kitchen
"Y/N! She's Max's friend and Lucas's babysitter!" I said putting on my shoes
"Uh-huh..." she said nodding her head "Make sure you come back by 9:00 pm,"
I then exited my house and I see Lucas, Dustin, and Will waiting for me. I got onto my bike and we followed Y/N's direction. We biked past Cherry lane, stopped by a forest, and saw a lane. We looked at each other and biked down the lane. We then saw the trailer in a clearing. We all parked our bikes and I knocked on the trailer door, but there was no answer.
"Hey! Over here!" I heard a voice and I turned around and saw Y/N, she was getting off her motorcycle and was holding a box of pizza "I got pizza for dinner,"
"Sweet!" Lucas says running over, Y/N then opened the box and showed it to him, they then started to chat and she walked towards the front door and unlocks it
"Well, welcome to my home," she says putting the pizza box down onto the
"Where's Max?" Dustin asks
"She'll be here soon...I think," she says
"Do you have any games to do in this house?" Will asks
"Unfortunately, no. I don't really have any friends, so I don't really buy anything related to socializing," she says, she then walks behind the counter and opens the fridge "Want anything to drink?"
"What do you have?" I asked
"I have orange juice, apple juice, coke," she says, we then all look at all of her, and she sighs "Not cocaine! Coca-Cola!"
"Ohhhhhhh!" the boys and I said in unison, we all then heard the door being knocked, there was loud music being played
Y/N's POV:
I heard the door being knocked and it must be Max and Billy. I walked over to the door and there it reveals Max and Billy sitting in his car.
"Max!" I said
"Y/N!" she says hugging me and going inside, I then closed the door behind me and walked towards Billy's car
"Not going to invite me in Sweetheart?" he asks, I chuckled
"Sorry Billy, I have 5 kids to babysit," I tell him
"I can help," he offers
"I'll be fine, enjoy your night out," I said tapping the top of his car
"I'll see you later, Sweetheart," he winks and drives away, I chuckled and walked back into the house, I shut the house door and locked it, I turned around and see the kids all staring at me
"You and Billy?" Lucas asks
"Were you guys spying?" I asked them and squinted my eyes "No, we're just friends. Anyways what would you like to drink? I wasn't able to get your answers from earlier,"
