Chapter 6 : Misunderstanding.

9 AM and i just woke up on Vegas' bed and he's still sleeping next to me. I think i forgot something but can't remember antything important beside the fact that me and Vegas getting back together.

"Shiiiit!! Shit!! God! What's wrong with me??" i was startled when grabbed my phone and saw 17 missed calls from Candy, 29 missed calls from phi Lian, and tons of text from them both. But the last text that appears on my screen was 

I hope that you're there to finished your assignment for this morning class.

"Why??" Vegas woke up and panic because i'm panic.

"I forgot my assignment!" i grabbed my clothes and wear it without noticing that my shirt is inside-out.

"Stay still.. here.." he pull my shirt up and correct it in the right way, then put it back on me. I just stay here looking on him who strangely become super sweet and always giving me the gentle touch.

"About the assignment, just drop the class and repeat it next year. Hehehe" What? Did he just laugh?? Did he just make a joke?? I never knew he can do that things.

"I can't." i answer while stood up and pulling my trouser up.

"Help me  and text Candy, please. Tell him i'm gonna come to class no matter what. I'm gonna wash my face real quick first." i asked for his help and got inside the bathroom right away.

...

"Do you got closer with Lian while we were split up?" he asked that the minute i came out the bathroom.

"We are always close to each others for long time, Vegas. You know that." i answer. "Did you text Candy?" i asked him and he nodded.

"He called you a thousand times and bomb texts you since last night until three minutes ago. He seems really worry about you, Pete." i recognized that look, he's jealous.

"Did you text Candy yet?" he still hasn't answer my question.

"Lucky for you, class cancelled until the day after tomorrow. Here!" he handed me my phone and there's a text from Candy that confirmed what Vegas said earlier.

"Hhhuhh.. My heart already on the floor right now.." i feel relieved.

"I'll go to campus and finish my assignment with him." i added.

"It's like universe on our side on this one." Vegas said, it means like the world is supporting us to getting back together since the class cancelled after we get back together and forgot to finish my assignment. 

"It doesn't make any sense, Vegas." i ignored him and picking up my totebag from diner chair where i put it last night.

"Wait for me, three minutes. I'll drop you off to campus." he said whilst he woke up from the bed.

"No, you don't need to. You should go to work. I don't want you come late to work."

"It's my off day until next Monday. I work my butt off this past week and they gave me four days off." he entering the bathroom and got out in exactly three minutes.

"Vegas.." i tried to start another conversation with him after he came out the bathroom and looking for the shirt he's about to wear.

"Yes?"

"I love you." he stopped what he was doing and come to me and kiss me right away.

"I never stopped loving you." he replied.

"What are you doing?" Candy shouting at me the minutes i showed up in the campus' cafetaria.
