After Jeremiah had went to the back to help throw Belly in the pool mom walked out of the house.

"Uh, Sweetie what are you doing laying on the grass."

"It was Jeres doing mom," I say as I get up off the ground.

"Ahh, I see. Can you come and help me with the boxes since the boys ran off before I had the chance to ask?"

"Sure thing."

As we're walking back into the kitchen Susannah speaks up, " How many boxes did you bring, I don't you not to bother with that." She says smiling.

"Your fancy little markets don't even sale Diet Coke."

"Hey Bree, it's so good to see you, I've missed my favorite blonde." She says as she pulls me in for a hug.

"But I'm the only other blonde." I say laughing

"And that's exactly why your my favorite." She says as I shake my head. "Laurel she's beautiful," she says while I'm putting stuff away.

" I know, she's grown so much," she's says as she pinches my cheek.

"Mom stop," I say becoming embarrassed as I take a sip of my water Susannah had just poured for me.

"So is that little thing you have for Jere still there?" Susannah questions while I choke on my water.

"What are you talking about, there's not a thing."

"Uh huh, is that why you were all googly eyed for him early. Either way your meant for Jere whether you know or shall I say admit it yet." Susannah had always said Belly and I were meant for her boys, and she didn't care which one.

Belly had just walked in after Susannah had finished her sentence. I gave her and my mom a look saying please don't say anything now, and they nodded reassuringly.

"Belly your dripping water everywhere," mom said as she went to grab a towel and Susannah, Belly, and I started laughing.

"Belly you should call your dad and tell him you got in safely"

"Why don't you tell Steven to do it or even Bree?"

"Because I'm telling you, He misses you guys when your gone."

"He'll see us at the end of the summer."

"He'll be hear for the 4th."

"Wait he's coming hear?" I question happily.

"Of course, he always comes for the 4th."

"He didn't come last summer," Belly says

"Because we had just gotten divorced, and we're good now," she says looking at me worriedly. Mom knew the divorce was hard on me because dad understood me better, so anytime she brought up the divorce she looked at me like I was a bomb about to go off. However, I've come to terms that they just weren't meant to be and accepted it for what it was.

"I for one am glad you guys are in good terms and can not wait to see him," I say jumping out of my chair. "I'm going to go unpack, see you guys later." I say walking upstairs.

When I get upstairs and open my door, I can't help but be happy everything looked just the way I left it. I sat my bags down and headed over to my dresser wear Junior Mint was sitting there. I adjusted his glasses and sat him on my bed when I heard a knock on my door. When I looked up I saw Jeremiah walk in and sat down on the bed.

"I can't believe you still have this thing." He says while picking him up and playing with him.

" Of course I still have him. You won him for me and I don't think I would forgive myself if I got rid of him. Not to mention that's where you get your awesome nickname Jere Bear." I tease him while laughing.
