Sage? Hun, are you alright?
She nodded and lifted her head up to breathe, replaying the mantra as she needed to know the truth. Even if Remus was not here, she needed to be strong for her pups—They were living with the idea that they had no parents.
Her wolf howled in agreement, it had always been in the back of her mind that if he wasn't alive then her pups would turn into her biggest focus.
As Sage peeked between Torin's shoulders, she caught Eli taking off his shirt, clearly, he was prepared to fight to secure the title.
"Would you like to wager that, Alpha Severin."
"Oh, I'm not the Alpha." He said with an evergrowing smirk as he turned off in the direction of Sage and Andy, though Eli's eyes had directly straight towards the larger of the two, Torin.
"I am Torin, Master of Arms. I am not the Alpha." Eli's focus started to spiral as he began to question if the Alpha was even present or hiding in the woods.
"I challenge the Alpha, on record of kidnapping my scouts!" Andy had whined beside Sage and nudged his nose into her hand in a silent plea to not go through with it.
Sage—Think about the pup, this isn't—
It hadn't escaped her notice that a pup would get harmed, but just as Torin had mentioned prior. She was not excused until there was proof and thus...She moved aside from either Torin or Severin, marching through those still in fur who whined out in the same plea as Andy.
And while Eli had earned a laugh from Half Crescent prior, he bellowed his own laugh as Sage's small figure had led forth to meet him in the center of either called-upon members.
"You're the Alpha?" Sage tilted her head, making it seems as though the bear on her head had done the same.
"Yes. And I accept your challenge...Ut in scuto." [Take down the shield] The phrase had confused Eli entirely, but when she had stepped through the underlying border of Crescent Moon, it called the majority of the pack to growl in defense.
"Smart. But not smart enough. I hoped we could talk, but I'll talk to you after." She said unclipping her bear pelt and leaving her hand-crafted weapons down to the ground. Eli's face was certainly in the effort to understand the she-wolf in front of him, but the anger that leveled her right now was cursing her to be let out and thus she did that.
"Quot?!" [How many?!] She shouted off behind her, and after a moment or two, the witches had developed a response. "Triginta." [Thirty] With that in mind, they certainly overpowered them by just over a dozen, including the witches and their abilities.
However, with the event of the challenge, Eli growled in agreement and turned off behind it. "Call it!" He ordered, and the familiar voice of her brother shouted out.
"Shift when I say...START!" The voice of Liam had caused to be left to only duck by Eli's brutal response, yet the months of hardship had certainly left Sage to learn more than just Crescent Moon's training methods. She worked well with the witches, maintained what she grasped from her work with Aurora back before she was kidnapped, and better yet...Half Crescent had a certain flair of Rogue style that couldn't be reached in a pack setting.
So the brutal kicks had rendered Eli to growl and grow sloppy with every record of defense or off.
"Careful, don't want to be sloppy now, Alpha." She taunted, her voice turning into a laugh as a part of her wanted to allow the true anger that festered deep in her soul to reach its peak. And like the goddess blessed her, Liam had called for a shift—And nobody could've expected the size of the small Alpha female.
