My shoulders jumped a bit when someone pulled my arm and encircled her arms on it, right after I got out of the cafeteria. Tumingin muna siya sa loob at hinila niya ako paalis do'n ng may malaking ngiti sa mga labi.

She purposely squinted her eyes on me, "Are you dating someone now, huh? Galing pa talaga sa ibang school..." nanunuksong akusa ni Ivy.

Ngumiwi ako at umiling, "That's not on my plan." nandidiri kong tanggi.

Her lips pursed in a teasing way before she started shaking my arm. "Who's that guy? I feel like I know him."

"Maybe?" I shrugged my shoulders, not really interested. "Asher's at the same university as him, I guess?"

"Asher..." Her eyes blinked, "You mean my Asher?" tanong niya habang nakaturo sa kaniyang sarili.

I nodded my head. "Who else?"

Huminto siya, kaya napatigil din ako sa paglalakad, "What's his course?" tanong niya, kahit nasa gitna kami ng hallway kung saan may mga dumadaang estudyante.

I looked away, remembering his ID lace just before my eyes. "Forensic Science..?"

She gasped and nodded her head, "Name?" puno ng kuryosidad niyang tanong.

"Draven Pierce Morhelvin."

Her mouth formed an 'o' before she slowly smirked at me. Pinaikot niya ulit ang braso niya sa'kin at nanguna na naman sa paglalakad. "Draven Pierve Morhlevin, huh..? You know—"

"Skip that; I don't care."

She glanced at me with a frown written on her lips. "Ito naman! He's quite famous kaya sa university nila Asher, so what's with your reactions, huh?! Maraming nagkakagusto ro'n, even outside their school."

My eyes rolled in an instant after hearing that, "And you know that because..?" blanko kong tanong.

Her head tilted innocently, "Because that's where Asher is studying? I know everything about him, diba? Even those around Asher..? And focus lang naman ang university nila sa science, medicine, and criminal justice." sagot niya.

"So... Anyway..." I crossed my arms. "Your point is?"

"That's one of the reasons why he's known." She nudged me on my waist with her elbow, "Iilan lang naman ang nag-aaral ng forensic science, eh. And admit it or not, he has the looks and body built." He heaved a deep sigh. "He's like a typical famous boy followed by a lot of people, even though he's not an influencer, artist, or athlete."

My eyes rolled in annoyance before I heaved a deep sigh, "Why are we talking about him anyway?" nakangiwing saad ko.

She shook her head before he used the same part to slightly lean it on mine as well. "He's a social butterfly, and you're someone who looks at people like you're judging them already based on some small thing. Makulit at mataray..? That would be fun, right?! Malay mo, ma-heal ka na rin sa pagmamaldita mo."

I glanced at her from my corner of my eyes, which made her point at me. "See?! That's what I'm saying! You don't need to say a word at all to scare people. Your stares are enough to shove everyone away!" Her eyes widened before she puffed both of her cheeks, teasing me. "Kaya walang nagtatangkang lumapit at makipagkilala sa'yo, eh."

My head shook. "It's not like I need them in my life."

She boldly poked me in the right cheek this time. "You'll never know that at first. Once you let them in, then that's the only time that you'll be aware of how much you want them to stay."
