CHAEYOUNG'S POV●

I went home ahead of Mina as that's what she wants. Even though I am irritated as hell with the way her friends reacted, I can't blame them.

But why can't I control my lips from smiling? Maybe because I just freaking confessed to her?

Damn I am cringing on the way I said it. Oh wait, shit! Ain't she straight? She has a crush on that Bambam before.

Oh gosh, I don't think I can face her again why didn't I thought of that before.

"Chaeyoung!"

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my father shouted.

I went to my door to unlock it.

"What took you so long to open it? I have been calling you for five times" He seemed pissed.

"I was wearing my headset sorry father"

He just glared at me.

"Any update with Myoui's corporate?"

Reality suddenly hits me. I am still a piece of shit who's using Mina, I don't have any rights to be offended by her friend's insult.

"I just know that her parents are on the way to L.A to close some deals with Erich builders"

He smirked and patted my head.

"You're doing good, keep it up. I won't let them have it"

He just complimented me even patted my head, but I don't feel too good as how I used to before.

Their compliments to me makes me feel loved by them even though it's just my wishful thinking. Now, I don't know, I just feel disgusted by his compliment.

I sighed and just went to my veranda. I stared at the sky when my phone suddenly rang.

It's Mina. I contemplated first before answering her.

"Hey... Did you got home safely?" I asked trying my hardest not to sound awkward.

"Hmm yeah. I just want to say thank you for this day"

I can feel that we are both awkward right now, maybe I shouldn't have said that.

"It's my pleasure, Mina. Thank you too for accompanying me, even though I discovered earlier you're not a big fan of rides."

"You're too excited how could I turn down your offer?"

I laughed with her statement.

There are few moments of silence before I talked again.

"Uh I want to apologize for fighting your friends earlier"

"No, it's fine. We already dropped the argument"

"Oh that's great I guess? yeah that's great" I answered myself.

"Soo... I'll just see you tomorrow at school? Good night, Chaeyoung"

"Yeah see you. Good night, Minari"

3RD PERSON'S POV●

Mina and Chaeyoung continued hanging out after that night. They both thought things will change, but it's been their 6th month in college and nothing happened.

They are just too comfortable when they are together to let her confession ruin things between them.

But Chaeyoung still stepped up, she made it clear that she will still show her feelings to Mina no matter what her gender preference is.
