"She said that I have a lot of things they are weighing me down that I do not need weighing me down," Minho told CHangbin at dinner. The therapy appointment went better than expected and he was sent home with different exercises and ways to help himself heal from the trauma.
"That does not surprise me, you take too much onto yourself and don't let people help you" Changbin pointed out. Minho had to agree even if he would never admit it out loud.
"I go back in after two weeks, hopefully, I won't be so freshly shaken up"
"I hope that for you to Minho, has Jisung reached out to you since that night?" Changbin asked. Minho almost dropped his fork. Looking up in surprise Changbin was looking at him with worried eyes.
"No, why, he has been actively avoiding" Minho was salty about it, he was and he was not about to pretend he was not.
"He stopped me in the halls yesterday and mumbled out a quick 'Chan Minho' before the horrendous looming of Chan himself behind me made him scamper away, he used to be so confident," Minho wanted to fume, Jisung went out of his way to find and speak to Changbin but was avoiding him at all costs.
"Do you work tomorrow?" Changbin asked, changing the subject before Minho got too mad.
"Yeah"
"Do you want me to pick you up?" Changbin asked, obviously wanting to Minho shook his head.
"I can walk back, I get off a bit earlier than usual, I can do it," Minho wanted to be strong wanted to be proud of himself, and walking home was a simple way he could be.
"Ok, if you end up needing me just call and I will be there" they continued to eat, Minho deep in thought on what the fuck to do.
~~~
Again Minho did not see Jisung at all. He was honestly disappointed but spent too much time actively staying out of Chan's sight to mind too much during the day.
He learned and retained nothing from any of his classes, too many people and too many chances of accidentally touching someone. He was extremely happy with the time work rolled around, he was able to be a counter away from anyone who came in and people coming in was not often as it was.
Minho was happy to not be doing the closing shift, Sianna having swapped him. She was probably the other person outside of the three guys who knew what happened.
"Are you doing alright?" Sianna asked when she first got there. Minho shrugged, taking off his name tag and running his hands through his hair.
"I'm tired, ready to nap and not wake up but I'm getting help for it" Sianna nodded at his reply. Taking the keys from Minho so she could officially start her shift.
"I'm glad, any help is good, and I'm proud of you for getting it. Now get home before the sun goes all the way down, I don't see Changbin out there to get you," she pinged out. Minho took a deep breath, hyping himself up for this walk home.
"I'm walking back 'cause I'm strong and independent," he smiled, Sianna seeming relieved to get something good and natural out of him.
"Ok then Mr. Independent goodbye!" the two waved and Minho exited the shop, the bell ringing above the door as he did so.
It wasn't dark outside but it was not bright. The sun still going down steadily, he would be able to make it home for it got truly dark. He felt a little anxious as he came upon a certain ally. Slowing his steps to try and pass it faster.
What he did not expect was for a familiar figure in black to stubble out and into his path.
Jisung with a bruised eye and bleeding lip appeared in front of him, good eyes open in fear and holding into his abdomen.
