WINTER

"AHHH!!" I screamed as I shot up of the bed. It was the same nightmare. I felt a hand dropped on my lap.

That sudden movement woke Karina up. She heard that noise.

She sat up with eyes half open.

"Win, are u ok?"

I nodded my head. She was half awake and that was the first thing she said, not saying why I woke her up with that noise. My heart swell when she said that.

She started walking up and walk to the kitchen toilet to clean up. I walked to my room toilet. After I washed my face, I looked in the mirror,

"Dad...what have u done to me."

Tears unknowingly flowed down my cheeks. I cried knowing that no one was here. Just then, Karina came in and saw me sitting on the floor and crying. She ran to me and whispered,

"Hey win...I'm here... don't cry, if u cry, I will cry too. Please don't"

She gave me a small smile as tears welled up in her eyes. I hugged her tightly. After I broke the hug. Our face was like a inch away. I have never seen her this close. I cupped her right cheek after moving that bunch of hair away from her face. I could feel her heartbeat speeding that was when I know what I was doing as I retreated my hands. She blushed and stood up and said,

"Imma go prepare breakfast. Call me if u need anything."

She rushed out with a red face. I also blushed and quickly got up to get ready.

KARINA

"Omg, we were so close to kissing. How did she not notice?"

I was so distracted by that thought until the breakfast meant for taeyeon is burnt. I was the first one to wake so I agreed to prepare their breakfast. I did not know Taeyeon saw everything. She chuckled. I quickly apologised and promised to make a new one. She laughed and said,

"It's fine, don't make Irene's one too. We usually buy on the way so there's no need to make. And seems like winter is occupied on your min-"

Before she could say finished, I heard a scream,

"Unnie!"

It was Irene, she pulled taeyeon away and brought her out of the door with their bags. I shrugged it off as I cooked mine and winter's breakfast.

IRENE

"Unnie, seulgi asked me to a date."

"It's just a date. Me and Jessica has it all the time."taeyeon said.

"Ahem, let me rewind the moment  you screamed at me because of she asking u out on a date." I backfired.

"Whatever, just say yes. You got it! I will pick u after it. Text me details and faster. We're late." She said.

During our car ride, I said,

"U think winter like Karina. She hugged her yesterday."

"I think so too. U wanna bet. Winter confess to her in a few months."

"Nah, I bet a few weeks. She will get over this situation soon. She seems better with Karina around." I answered while texting seulgi.

"Deal." Taeyeon said.

WINTER

I walked to the kitchen when I saw a gorgeous figure.

"You know imma melt if u keep staring." Karina said while laughing.

I blushed as I went to grab milk for both of us.

I nodded my head as I poured 2 cups. We had our breakfast together. Then, we watched movie together.

We got closer together as we hugged each other as we watched. My heart swelled as I watched her side view. Instead of looking at the mirror. All my attention went to her face. Her face is the prettiest one I've ever seen. She turned her head and saw me stare at her. She blushed. There was a awkward silence. I broke it,

"Hey u wanna hear a pick up line?"

She nodded her head.

"Are your parents by chance artists?"

She shook her head. I chuckled and said,

"Cos u are definitely a masterpiece."

She blush but this time it was so hard until she looks like a potato. I laughed.

KARINA

"Omg that pick up line is so cheesy. Is she laughing at me."

I turned me head to a laughing mess winter. I turned my whole body. I said,

"U thought it was funny?"

She continued to laugh at me. I tickled her stomach and she was laughing along asking me to remove my hands. I did not stop. I enjoyed the sound of her laughter. She took my hands in time and I lost my balance and leaned forward to her. Both of us did not have time to stop.

Our lips crashed. I could smell her scent of vanilla it was so nice that I could not leave. She started to close her eyes. I was about to break from the kiss bit she somehow reacted to it. I was shocked but kissed her anyways.

Not long after we broke from the kiss, we continued watching the movie. I was so awkward. I never ever thought that she would do that. We stayed like that until she broke the silence,

"Hey, Ning Ning asked whether she and aeri can come cos u know I wasn't in school. So she wants to check. is that ok with you?"

I nodded my head. Not long after, they came. They brought food and my work. I took my work and started doing it with aeri explaining it in the living room as Ning Ning and winter were talking in her room.

"So how are you around her?" She asked.

Aeri was the only one who knew my crush on winter.

"She think me as a friend. Her heart is still taken by sunghoon. U know we accidentally kissed just now, she reacted but she was really awkward after it. I don't know aeri. I don't know."

She patted me.

"Hey, it's fine,at least she reacted to it, maybe she has feelings, just not discovered yet. Well some good news, me and Ning Ning are together."

"Really, aeri I'm so happy for you. As much as I want to hear what happened, I need to finish this. Your curfew is 7 right? It's almost 5." I said with a wide smile.

We both laughed and did our work.
