Arya's Pov
I see my mother staring at me like a..well I don't know!!
"Arya are you serious it's 5:30 in the morning you woke up had shower and is now almost ready to hit the school, like do you have fever or something else "
"Uh mum I don't have any fever and where is my breakfast?" I ask to change the subject.
"Oh my god, I am so happy-here here is your breakfast my boy" she says dramatically I think.
We dive into our breakfast after the fever drama, I don't know why did I wake up so early maybe I am eager to see her again. She has become my need now.
"Where is dad?" I ask.
She takes a mouthful of mashed potatoes and celery and starts chewing it in slow motion.
A moment of pause.
"He didn't return home last night, Alex, maybe he is drunk lying on some road I don't know" she bites her lips in disgust.
Yeah meet my father a drug addict, alcohol addict and many more.
But I don't care about him anymore.
There was time when I loved him but now it is a distant memory.
"Mum, I am going to school, see you later" I say.
"Yeah" She says
AT SCHOOL
After what happened in the morning, I don't feel well, I want to cry but hell I can't.
"Today's Assembly will be conducted in 4th period so as of now no classes will be held, you can practice or can do your homework" our teacher says.
"Hey bud what's up?" Jake asks me.
"Where the hell is she?" I say as I scan the whole fucking classroom.
"Who?Ish"
"Ish-A," I say sternly.
"Okay fine!! You don't know what happened to her oh boy, you remember right how you always tease her about her behaviour when it comes to her father that she never talks about her father's identy-" this convo is irritating me.
I hold his collars "Listen Jake just tell me what happened to her? not the fucked up things which I have done to her"
"Dude calm down!!, Her father came to the school and was standing in front the school gate so you know how awkward the position was and everyone including our class saw that--" he stops and his eyes pops out.
"Isha!!" Fuck. I am grounded.
