Two weeks had gone by since the twins had arrived back at the manor. The once warm welcoming energy that flooded the abode had now been replaced by a cold sombre chill that seemed to engulf its every room. The twins had been away at lord llewellyns boys academy for the last year and had since turned thirteen. It was either the year away or the step into teen hood no one could be sure but somewhere along that year the twins seemed to have changed, not in the way that the Lord may have hoped.
Idris and Issac returned with a great hatrid towards the family not only for sending them away but upon their return they were met with new siblings...
Not only new siblings but they were twins. A year prior the Lord scoffed at the pair, rather amused at the notion that he was replacing them but here was the proof that confirmed their fears.
A new wife, new twins... The family the Lord had always wanted no wonder he was so eager to send the twins away. They felt forgotten and rather hurt but their upset bubbled and boiled into a thick stew of loathing and detestation.
Were they not good enough? Was their mother's memory alone not enough? The twins spent the two weeks locked away in their rooms and on the occasion they would run off to the "veiw" as they called it. The veiw was this large hill that sat in the center of uffern, it was a twenty minutes walk through the manors forest, past the long winding river bed and up the hillside forest. It was a rather long and tierous walk but the veiw at the very top was worth every step. The veiw showed every single home in the village along with every pond, every path, every manor aswell as the beautiful blue ocean with her courageous white horses that roared into battle upon her surface as they charged Into shore. They used to sit here for hours with their mother and father as they played between the daisy's and buttercups as father regaled them with they tales of the brave horsemen of the sea, the twins knew they were just waves but there was something more heroic and magestic about fathers tale.
It was the hottest day of the year and the twins began to make their way down the staircase with their satchels, the lord and lady, aurelia and the new twins were all in the master bedroom laughing and cooing away at the new babies with delight. Their laughter echoed through the halls but their joy only fuled the fire that burned within the boys.
"What is so great about them?" Snapped idris as he dragged his feet down the steps.
"Just leave them to it idris honestly, we will find our own fun" replied Isaac trying to remain optimistic.
The duo crept towards the kitchen and into the pantry as the two bandits filled their satchels with fruits, a jam jar and a loaf of fresh made bread. They filled up their canteens with water and began their expedition up the hill once more. Their thievery had gone unnoticed... Or so they had thought.
From the doorway emerged aurelia in her lilac summer dress and her hair ribbon the colour of lavender.
"What are you up to?" She inquired with a raised brow."Go away aurelia, go spend time with your new family." snarled idris with a mouth full of spite.
"What do you mean?" She replied now rather perplexed.
"Don't play coy with us." snapped Isaac folding his arms.
Aurelia just stared in utter confusion, lady iris had tried her best to make them feel welcomed and the babies... Well they were just babies.
"Where are you going?" Aurelia asked, noticing the satchels that were building and over flowing.
"Somewhere that babies cannot go." Barked idris.
"Haha good one idris." Chuckled Isaac hiding at his brother.
"Does father know where you are going?" She retorted with a rather smug grin spreading across her face.
