Heard the footsteps coming in
I think I'm scared a bit
Forgive me for freaking out
Nobody told me about this before
I planted a flower in the garden
Don't know when it got taller
Guess everything went by too fast
Faster than that childhood cars i dreamt of
The TV told me something
Something about investment
Or successful young man
The one that everyone expected to be
Can't say I have everything I wanted
But I have enough to get me through today
Just like what my parents says
When I planted that flowers in the garden
Everyone told me happiness is the goal
But nobody told me sadness would come along within
Can a young man hit the brake?
Might wanna dreams a few years more
