The conversation

When I opened the door to professor Leah's office I saw both men standing behind a desk, it's like they were children waiting for candy.

"Take seat please Ms. Williams" Professor Leah said as soon as I stepped in the office.
I sat down in the nearest seat to me.

When I sat down I felt like a rabbit surrounded by wolves. You could see how much power they held just by the way they were standing. You could see the strong hold they had on people.

"We know that you are wondering why we called you to our office, it's nothing bad so don't worry ." Professor Mann said with a smile.

"Okay, so why am I in here." I wanted to know why both of them needed me.

The two men looked at each other, it's like they had a silent conversation with each other.

"Well..." Professor Mann started.

"We just wanted you to help us out with some grading and other stuff." Professor Leah stated.

"Oh that sounds okay."

"Me and my friend Mr.Leah are very busy on the weekends, so grading papers and other assignments are hard for us to do."

"Why are you guys so busy on the weekends?" I wondered what was keeping theses two men busy to the point where they can't grade assignment's.

"You're really nosy hermosa." Professor Leah said with a smirk crawling up his mouth.

"You can't know everything sweetheart." Professor Mann said with the same smirk Professor Leah had.

I had butterflies in my stomach when professor Mann said sweetheart to me. His words were starting to unravel me. Part of me felt sinful, that I was feeling this way for my Professor, but another part of me really didn't care if it's sinful. All I really cared about was this feeling and it was amazing.

"Ummm... I guess I can help you guys" I said nervously.

"That's great. You'll start next week. You'll stay after school on Monday's, Tuesday's , and Thursday's. Is that good?" Professor Leah said with a strong demeanor. It didn't feel like he was asking me to stay on those days, it felt like he was telling me to stay those days.

Professor Leah had a strong dominance, which gave me chills but also gave me butterflies.

"What is wrong with me how can two men give me butterflies at the same time? This is wrong. And I need to get myself together" I thought.

"Okay. I think I can stay on those days."

"Good. We hope you will be able to run the extra mile to get theses assignments graded, if needed." Both of the professors had sly grins on their face's.

"What do you mean by running the extra mile." I said with confusion. I didn't know what they were talking about and I needed an explanation.

"Nothing sweetheart, professor Leah was just joking." Professor Mann bumped professor Leah arm playfully, which caused professor Leah to let out a playful chuckle.

"I'm sorry Ms. Williams I was just joking."

"Your good, but you can call me Thea. Ms.Williams made me feel like a strict kindergarten teacher." I said with playfulness seeming through my voice.

"Okay Thea, that's all we have to say for today. We'll see you next week." Professor Leah said with kindness in his voice.

The rumors had said that Professor Leah was mean and strict, but with me he's everything but that. He had show me great kindness.

"Okay bye."

I got up from my chair and walked out of the office. Everything that had happened in that room made me feel euphoric. I had almost forgot my English class I had to go to later, because everything I was feeling. I'd also, almost forgot that Joshua asked me out on a date.

As soon as that thought can back to my mind my mood was instantly faltered.
I went from feeling euphoric to feeling sad and disappointed. I hated that I was leading Joshua on but, I didn't want him to feel bad. I guess I was going to have to suck it up for one night.

After my English class was over I went back to the dorm, only to find Nysha on her phone laughing.

"What's funny?" I wanted to know because I needed some laughter.

"Well hello to you too roommate, and if you really want to know what made me laugh,
it was a funny house video." She said with a sassy attitude.

"Oh. Also, be ready by 7 so we can go out to dinner."

"Okay" she said lazily.

I settled in our dorm and got everything straight. I wanted to take a nap before we went out.

***

When the clock struck 6 o'clock I got up from my nap and started to get ready for our dinner. I wasn't going all out because we weren't going anywhere fancy. I wasn't broke but I wasn't the richest so I wanted to go somewhere casual.

When me and Nysha finished getting ready she called us a Uber and we went to a nice Italian restaurant.

When we got to the restaurant I was ready to tell Nysha everything that happened today.
