A Tale of a Promise

Chapter 4

Kimi Aiyu's

"Is that really her?"

"Yeah"

"I don't know she will be beautiful like that..."

"You bet"

I've been hearing this quite a lot since my makeover. I went to our room, sat beside the window, and waited for the class to start. As Mr.Kagawa walks into our room, Yunme runs inside and bumps into Mr.Kagawa.

"Oh, sorry, Sir!"

"Mr.Shiro! You're late again!"

"Oh, sorry, Sir, I just got from the band practice"

"Okay, you may sit down"

"Thanks"

Yunme sat down beside me then the class started. As the bell rang, Angel and I went to the locker room. When I opened my locker, there was a letter that fell off.

I picked up the letter and read it. It has no name in it, but it says there that I should go to the gymnasium. What the heck is going on?

As I enter the gymnasium. I heard someone singing...

"Best things about tonight that we're not fighting. It could be that we have been this way before."

As I entered the gymnasium, I saw him singing on stage.

"I know you don't think that I am trying. I know you're wearing thin down to the core. But hold your breath, because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you..."

"Over again, don't make me change my mind or I won't live to see another day."

"I swear it's true, because a girl like you is impossible to find... you're impossible to find."

After he sang, he smiled at me, then went backstage. A certain guy gave me a flower. It's roses, my favorite. After school, I still can't get over what happened...I went home, then started to read one of my manga collections just to relax.

I didn't know that I fell asleep...

Yunme's

I sang for her, then asked someone to give her roses. She's really beautiful, and I'm looking forward to this Valentine's Day.

"Hey Yunme, the practice has started!"

"Okay!"

So there we started to practice, and still, she's on my mind.

"It took one look and forever laid out in front of me. One smile and I died, only to be revived by you."

"There I was...  thought I had everything figured out. Goes to show just how much I know 'bout the way life plays out..."

"I take one step away, but I find myself coming back to you. My one and only, one and only you..."

"Now I know that I know not a thing at all. Except for the fact that I am yours, and that you are mine..."

"They told me that this wouldn't be easy, and no, I'm not one to complain..."

I repeated the chorus until the song finished.

After singing, the band members went home, and I cleaned up the mess and went to bed. I set the clock at 5 am, hoping that I will not be late.
