A Tale of a Promise

Chapter 1

Kimi's

Oh my, another new ordinary day to begin. I'm just cleaning myself now after being bullied again by my classmates. What happened? Well, they just threw some powder and eggs on me and I seem to get used to it. It's always like this ever since I studied in this school.

While I was cleaning myself someone lends a handkerchief to me.

"Here," a voice said.

I looked up and saw a prince right before my eyes! He was so handsome that he might be my prince who came in a white horse! I know it's a bit exaggerated but that's how he seems to me. It was like everything become magical when he approached me.

He gave me his handkerchief but I refuse to take it. Later on, I was shocked when he started wiping my face with his handkerchief.

"Being bullied again?" he asked

I don't know what to say. It's just that my heart starts beating so fast. I felt like I was in Cloud Nine all of a sudden.

"Here, it's yours..." he said after wiping my face.

He gave me the handkerchief and left the place. I was standing there until I realize that... oh, shoot! I forgot to ask his name! I didn't even bother asking him though and I also forgot to thank him! I was really stuck at the moment when he was talking to me.

I went back to the classroom after cleaning myself and get my things right away.

"Kimi! Are you alright?"

Oh, it's Angel my best friend the most popular girl in school. You don't have to wonder how she looks like. From her name you can tell that she is an angel and how about me? Well, a girl with braided pigtails, matching large eyeglasses plus braces, wearing sneaker shoes...long sleeves and a grandma-knitted scarf.

Just like those typical nerds, that's why my classmates always bullies me. Especially the group of girls called Social 4, they are led by the cheerleader Rissa Greyson, and she is the first one who always bullies me at this school.

Later on, while walking in the corridor with Angel. Everyone started to shout like, what the heck is going on?

Then, a few moments later there is a group of guys walking along the corridor and as fate plays with me, the guy who gave me the handkerchief is one of them!

"Uhm... who are they?" I asked Angel with confusion.

"You don't know them?"

"Uhm, no?"

"Oh my! They're the most popular boy band in this campus! They are the so-called Unmei's Princes! Finn as the drummer, Daniel as the pianist, Yuukito as the bass player, and most of all the coolest guy in Bridge Park Academy... Yunme Shiro the vocalist!"

So his name was Yunme? Rather than that he is one of the Unmei's Princes. Just like Finn too, which happens to be a friend of mine.

"Not also that, there are also some nicknames given to them!"

Oh, dear. I think Angel, surely have a lot of information about them.

"Yunme is known as the Serenade Prince, Yuukito as the Child Prince, Finn as the Smart Prince, and Daniel as the Joker Prince."

"Oh. I see"

So my prince is a prince after all? But only here in school though. Well, how I wish that he could recognize me again.

Yunme's

She's been bullied again. I've been watching her since the first year. Even if she's a nerd I admit that I always had this feeling that I want to protect her. Maybe others don't see her through, but I found her so beautiful, in her clean heart and soul although she is ugly on the outside... I know that there is someone beautiful hiding inside. Someone that needs to be known or seen.
