Chapter Eight~Shit!

"You're dead..." Dad stutters.

"Than how am I here?" She asks smugly.

"Dad, calm down." I say.

"Wait, this is your mom?" William asks.

"In the flesh." Mom replies to William question.

"But how?" My dad asks still in shock.

"Long story short, I flashed out right before the fire covered my body when the pole broke because of the heat. I've been hiding from all of you because I didn't want the Memphis pack to figure out that I was alive." Mom explains.

"Why couldn't you have came to me? I mean I may have broke down after your supposed death but I still have Alpha blood running though my veins and I could have helped you and kept you safe." Dad looks as if he's on the verge of tears.

"Speaking of my death, why did our daughter think I was a slut before today?" She asks sternly.

"Well, I told her that you cheated on me because I would have had to explain to her how you passed. You and I both agreed that we wouldn't tell her anything until we thought she was ready and this isn't how I planned on telling her but in total honesty it wasn't me who told her, It was William..." Dad points to Will and my heart thumps hard. My moms gaze lands on him and the vibe I'm getting off her isn't a good on.

"What gave you the right to tell my daughter what she was? What gave you the god damn right to tell her?" My mom screams.

"Hey whats all the..." Emily says as her, Grace, Lucy, Finley and Max walk around the corner to my room.

"Shit." Lucy says in shock.

Shit doesn't even begin to describe what is about to go down.

"Well?" My mom yells again.

"Hold your shit mom." I yell. "William told me and these three because we over heard them talking. Grace is Max's mate and the imprinted. Also..." How the hell am I suppose to tell her this. "Wait, I thought you said you were watching over me in the shadows?" I question.

"Until you moved here. Thats when I lost you until yesterday when your inner witch was awaken and I could sense you power. Wait, the curse. If Grace and Max imprinted than he curse is broken. How?"

I sigh. I'm going to have to tell her at some point right? I walk over in front of William and he grabs me by the torso. God, there has never been anything in the history of my mom and I that has been so hard to tell her.

"Chloe and I imprinted." William says in a flat tone.

"Wait, so you're the witch that broke the curse?" My mom looks shocked.
"Yeah, I did, and I'm glad I broke it." I say as I look up at William who is smiling from cheek to cheek.

"Emily, I think I'm seeing a ghost because that last we heard Chloe's mom was dead." Lucy says to Emily.

"What's going on because rising the dead was not on out to-do list for the next three weeks." Emily gives a nervous type laugh and I just chuckle.

"Apparently my mom didn't actually die. She flashed out at the last moment and got away leading everyone to believe she was dead. It's a long complicated story that I will tell you tonight before we go to sleep." I say.

"Like I said, I never thought that they would go after Chloe. I thought they would stop with me and not try to kill the future Luna. But apparently I was wrong." My mom pleads in defence.

"I get why you did it but you have no idea about how hard it has been living without you these past five years!" Dad yells.

"Don't I? I went thought the same that you did! I felt you fall in love with another woman and that was agonizing!"

"You were dead! Or at least thats what everyone thought!" Dad yells.

"Holy shit! You two need to stop your fucking arguing and please get along. Dad, where's Veronica?" I shout.

"I don't know, she went out for a run a little while ago." Dad shrugs. "She should be back soon."

"Okay so here's what's going on that I should catch you all up on. Memphis found mom and I at the park and they know shes alive now. I don't think that they will strike since they know we're too strong together but I don't know what they might do to try and get to us. We need to be on high alert so we aren't caught off guard." I explain.

Just as I finish my little sepal I hear a door slam shut. I can sense Veronica's presence in the house again and I know she wont be happy about this.

"What is going on?" Veronica says as she turns the corner to my room.

"Veronica, I would like you to meet my mom. I would also like you to know that we have some problems. Dad fill her in on them wont you?" I grab Williams hand and drag him from the room. Everyone follows us but Mom, Dad, and Veronica.

I can hear yelling and I grimace at the thought of them yelling because of me.

"So, do you want to explain how you happened to come across your supposed dead mother?" Grace says tapping her foot as she leans into Max.

"She found me at the park and than we were ambushed by Memphis. From there I flashed to my room and thats when all of...this happened." I explain with a sigh.
