Chapter Twelve~Time To Fight

"We've been here all day! It's fucking 6:30!" I whine as we exit another store.

"It take's time to shop and plus you were asleep 'till 1!" Lucy argues.

"I have more outfits than I ever have in my life!" Grace groans.

"Oh boo hoo!" Lucy mocks.

"Can we please leave now?" I plead.

When Emily finally shakes her head yes I rush out of the mall and down the street back to the house. Tonight I have to meet William's parents...Tonight I have to meet his parents! Holy shit, why didn't I think it out more when he asked me if I wanted to meet them?

I slow down as I get closer to the house and catch my breath.

"Hey little lady..." The voice from behind me sent chills down my spine.

"Who the fuck are you?" The smart thing to do right now would probably be to mind-link with William, Finley and Max but you know me, stupid, stupid, stupid.

"I see your wolf hasn't marked you yet witch." So he's a werewolf like us and he knows I'm a witch... If William finds out this guy is sure as dead.

"What is it baby?" Will's voice laced with worry rings through my head.

"Get away from me." I scream as the man grabs me around my middle.

"Baby whats happening?" Panic ripples through Will's voice.

I hear feet pounding against the pavement and I can only guess as to who it is. My heart prays for the girls but my mind knows that my girls wouldn't stand a chance against this guy.

Okay, here are my choices. Either I let this man kidnap me or I avoid death by teleporting. Teleporting it is than. I close my eyes and think of my form being behind the guy. My stomach turns upside down and I hear the man mumble something and realize that I am now behind him and he is confused.

I kick him behind the knee and start running as fast as I can.

I still hear the feet pounding from behind me and the first thought I have is that they are all from Memphis and that I'm totally screwed because I don't have the strength in me to teleport again.

"Chloe!" I hear Grace shout.

"Shit, I thought that you were the Memphis pack." I pant slowing down to a stop.

"Well we aren't and I would appreciate it if you never run from us again." Lucy pants.

"What's with that man back there?" Emily says and I noise him getting up off the ground and he looks me right in the eyes.

"We need to move now!" I say.

"What? Why?" Emily asks looking back and Lucy slaps her across the head. "Oh, shit, let's go before he catches up with us."

We run as fast as we possibly can away from the man and I don't bother to look back to check and see if he's chasing us still when I turn up the driveway and run though the front door.

I run into a pacing William and fall on my butt.

"Thank god you are okay why didn't you talk to me?" He hugs me a little tight and I feel my breath slipping away even more than before.

"Dude! I don't think you want to kill your mate!" Finley yells at Will and Will retaliates by growling deep and Finley backs up.

I gasp for air as Will lets go. "I was a little occupied by the man attempting to kidnap me. I have my suspicions that he was from Memphis."

"Why would you think that?" William growls.

"Because he knew I was a witch and that I was imprinted." I explain.

"I'm going to slaughter that whole damn pack." William growls.

"And we will all help." Finley say.

"Please, you think I'm going to let my human friends near werewolves?" I scuff and he looks offended. "You know what I meant."

"There is no way I'm letting Grace near the fight either." Max snarls.

"You aren't going either." William tells me.

"I'd like to see you try and stop her." Emily chuckles.

"I'm with her, I'd like to see how you plan on doing that." I plant my hands on my hips and wait for his explanation.
